Marriage Perversions Are Just as Obscene as “Transgenderism”

Author J.K. Rowling has become one of the truth’s biggest allies in the fight against the evil transgender agenda. For over five years now, Ms. Rowling has used her vast resources and her magnificent platform to speak out against men masquerading as women. Others like-minded and with similar fame and fortune have joined Ms. Rowling—Martina Navratilova, Elon Musk, Joe Rogan, to name a few—in this fight.

There’s no doubt that these prominent voices have been incredibly influential in spreading the truth about the transgender lie. Ms. Rowling and her allies have emboldened legislators, corporations, schools, parents, and so on, to also take a stand for the truth in the fight against the foolish and absurd notion that one can change one’s sex.

Most importantly, Ms. Rowling and her allies have emboldened more accurate and powerful truth-tellers in this battle. For, as powerful and important as are Ms. Rowling, Joe Rogan, and the like are in this fight, they fall short when it comes the absolute truth on sex.

The war on the truth has been raging since Satan asked Eve, “Did God really say…” For decades now, in the sexual realm, Satan has waged a war on the truth in the United States and the world over. Tragically, the enemy of all of humanity has won over most Americans when it comes to sexual matters. As I noted in 2018,

[T]he battles over sex and sexuality in our culture have largely been lost. A wide array of sexually immoral behaviors is now deemed acceptable by significant portions of our culture. At least sixty percent of Americans view same-sex “marriage,” homosexuality, and fornication (sex outside of marriage) as morally acceptable. Our courts, corporations, schools, legislatures, and the like have taken notice. Most every significant institution in the U.S. now widely embraces [sexual] evil.

Thus, telling the whole truth, and nothing but the truth on matters in the sexual realm are enormously important. The truth on marriage is that it is only the union of one man and one woman for life. As I have written numerous times, marriage is the oldest institution in the history of humanity—older than God’s covenant with the nation of Israel, older than The Law, older than the church. Marriage is one of the earliest truths revealed by God. If anything is true, marriage as the union of one man and one woman is true. On this, there can never be compromise.

Married mothers and fathers are the foundation of every sound society the world has ever known. No law written by human beings should ever subvert this ancient and foundational institution. President Ronald Reagan summed it up well when he noted, “The family has always been the cornerstone of American society…in the family we learn our first lessons of God and man, love and discipline, rights and responsibilities…the strength of our families is vital to the strength of our nation.”

Additionally, there is virtually no truth, and absolutely no laws written by humans, with more “precedent” than marriage as the union of one man and one woman. There is no higher law than that spoken by the Law Giver, the One who made us in His image. (This great nation was founded upon His eternal truths!) He told us very early in His Word what is marriage.

Additionally, whenever Jesus, or any other of the New Testament writers—who often used marriage as an illustration of the relationship between Jesus and His church—spoke of marriage, it was always as the union of one man and one woman. Thus, any law, any relationship that deviates from the eternal truth of what is marriage will have tragic consequences!

One of the few truths older than what is marriage is what is a male, and what is a female. Again, scripture makes this abundantly clear. But, if one can (legally) erase what is marriage, why not push your evil agenda even further?  It is telling that once the wicked LGBT agenda got its legal victory on marriage—with the infamous and immoral Obergefell ruling—one of its next goals was to blur the lines between who’s a male and who’s a female.

Nearly a decade ago—almost exactly one year after the Obergefell ruling—I wrote that “liberals may have finally found a way to make women’s sports more interesting: let men compete as women.” As they’ve done countless times with the U.S. Constitution (see abortion and same-sex “marriage”), in order to get their way legally, and jam “transgenderism” down the throats of a largely unwilling, uncooperative America, liberals looked to “interpret” Title IX in order to allow men in women’s sports, locker rooms, restrooms, and the like.

Of course, once the Biden administration came into power, they attempted to use Title IX in exactly the way the American left imagined, to (again!) give the LGBT agenda exactly what it wanted. Thank God, they failed. However, unsurprisingly, the left persists in attempting to push this perversion upon America, just like they did with same-sex “marriage.”

As perverse as is the notion that men can become women and vice-versa, is the idea that marriage is anything other than the union of one man and one woman. Those who are opposed to the trans agenda would be wise to surrender to the truth on marriage as well.

Again: “Pride” is Nothing to Celebrate

(This is a re-post of my "Pride" column from last year (2023).) 

In his seminal work Mere Christianity, the great Christian apologist C.S. Lewis describes “pride” as “the Great Sin,” “the essential vice,” “the utmost evil.” Lewis concludes,

Unchastity, anger, greed, drunkenness, and all that, are mere flea bites in comparison; it was through Pride that the devil became the devil; Pride leads to every other vice; it is the complete anti-God state of mind.

Thus, I suppose it is rather fitting that the “official” celebration of the evil LGBT agenda is called “Pride Month.” Few things today more encompass the wretched display of pride than what is exhibited when those under the throes of the LGBT agenda are unashamedly and boldly “out of the closet.”

Why was it—as this is typically no longer the case—that those with homosexual attractions had to come “out of the closet?” It was because to act on those attractions was often illegal, and—or at least—typically frowned upon by society at large. Why was homosexual behavior so stigmatized? Because it was once largely (and rightly) viewed as “unnatural” and immoral. 

It is important to note that things are not—or should not be—immoral because they are illegal, they are—or should be—illegal because they are immoral. And this is not to say that all immoral things should be illegal. The biggest achievement of the LGBT agenda has not been the reversal of U.S. laws that deemed homosexual behavior illegal, but rather a sea-change in the views on homosexuality in the American culture at-large. 

As was the case with all of the rotten and perverse fruit of the “sexual revolution,” this was largely accomplished by appealing to the pride of those who wanted to go their own way in the sexual realm. As C.S. Lewis noted, “pride leads to every other vice.” Homosexuality, pornography, promiscuity, and the like, are all born of the desire to ignore our Creator and write our own moral code.

It is telling that, before the LGBT agenda took root in America, pornography, promiscuity, sexually explicit displays throughout media, the “hook-up” culture, abortion (yes, abortion is a sexual issue), and so on, were being promoted and widely embraced across the U.S. Thus, no one should be surprised that once heterosexual immorality became entrenched in our culture, widespread acceptance of homosexuality would soon follow. Immorality breeds immorality.

It is also telling that, the sexual revolution that infected America flourished once those devoted to such a perverse agenda gained power. U.S. courts, politicians, academics, influential media personalities—and most tragically, even those within the church—alike all played a role in the pervasive spread of the sexual revolution. Power and pride go hand-in-hand, “For, of course, power is what Pride really enjoys,” writes Lewis. He adds,

There is nothing that makes a man feel so superior to others as being able to move them about like toy soldiers. What makes a pretty girl spread misery wherever she goes by collecting admirers? Certainly not her sexual instinct; that kind of girl is quite often sexually frigid. It is Pride. What is it that makes a political leader or a whole nation go on and on, demanding more and more? Pride again. Pride is competitive by its very nature; that is why it goes on and on.

Many were duped into believing that those promoting the LGBT agenda merely wanted to “live and let live.” However, as I’ve often noted, “live and let live” has never really been a trait of the LGBT agenda. Because of their desire to use their power to not only push their agenda, but to exact revenge upon those who stood in their way, the left’s Pride warriors have enthusiastically gone “on and on” targeting their opponents.

As Dennis Prager rightly noted, “pride is not about tolerance—it is totalitarian.” One only has to examine those targeted in the marriage debate for evidence of this. However, the “transing” of America provides most of the recent and most egregious examples of LGBT totalitarianism. (For a chronicling of these efforts, see here.) 

As I noted at the beginning of this piece, few things display the pride of humanity than unabashed displays of LGBT behavior. This is because, few things are further from the truth than the legal redefinition of marriage, and the absurd notion that one can change their sex. Again, almost nothing in the realm of truth is older than what is marriage, and what is a male and what is a female. This is because, “in the beginning” God revealed these foundational truths to us.

Of course, it is hard—if not impossible—to hear God when one is filled with pride. And if we’re not hearing God, then we are likely clueless as to what is sin. “Treason doth never prosper,” wrote English poet John Harington. He asks, “What’s the reason?” He concludes, “For if it prospers, none dare call it treason.” Likewise, sin “doth” never prosper. Why? Because if it prospers, none dare call it sin. This is where we are in America, instead of calling sin what it is, and dealing with it appropriately, we celebrate it, and misery ensues.

Again, C.S. Lewis was right:

The Christians are right: it is Pride which has been the chief cause of misery in every nation and every family since the world began…Pride always means enmity—it is enmity. And not only enmity between man and man, but enmity to God.

In God you come up against something which is in every respect immeasurably superior to yourself. Unless you know God as that—and, therefore, know yourself as nothing in comparison— you do not know God at all. As long as you are proud you cannot know God. A proud man is always looking down on things and people: and, of course, as long as you are looking down, you cannot see something that is above you.

The ultimate message of Pride Month is that God—if He exists at all—is a liar, and that you can do whatever you wish in the sexual realm without consequence. This is why no Christian should have any part of it. (This is especially the case when you are telling the world about The Chosen.)

Taking the "Alphabet Mafia" Seriously

This post is from a piece by David Strom at Hot Air. It was published this past Sunday (4/21/24) in their weekly "Sunday Smiles" section. Everything below is from Mr. Strom's piece:

Karen wrote about the Bill Maher speech that declared, among other things, that Ron DeSantis was right about kicking alphabet ideology out of schools.

It was a great rant, and I agreed with almost every word. Yet it left me angry as well as satisfied, and I will tell you why in a bit. (Language Warning!)

Maher hit all the right notes: the entertainment industry IS filled with pedophiles, adults are sexualizing kids, kids ARE being groomed to become Queer, and Drag Queen Story Hour is perverted.

And Ron Desantis was right, and the only reason why the liberals denied it is that he is a Republican. Yep. Spot on.

So why am I still angry?

That last point gives it away: it takes Bill Maher permitting liberals to admit the obvious to get anybody to take these issues seriously, and that just isn't good enough.

Countless children have been and will be sacrificed to the alphabet gods for no other reason than liberals don't want to admit conservatives are right about anything. ...

It is a FACT that liberals will approve of pedophiles being given access to children because to do otherwise would confirm what conservatives say.

Think about how f'**ked up that is. They will let children be fondled by kiddie diddlers because admitting a Republican is right about an issue is a bridge too far.

We saw EXACTLY this when Sound of Freedom came out. There was a massive campaign to discredit the film and the idea of child sex trafficking for no other reason than Christians liked the film. It was as simple as that. We got the "Q-Anon" accusations. Suddenly, anybody worried about child sex trafficking was called a kook, despite several child sex trafficking rings being broken up WHILE THE CONTROVERSY was ongoing. 

The movie WAS BASED ON A TRUE STORY! But since conservatives liked the movie and that kids were being saved from sexual exploitation, it had to be discredited. There was a massive campaign to destroy the movie that thankfully failed.

We are a long way from alphabet ideology being driven out of society--in Blue states the momentum for it has GROWN as the rest of the world recoils in horror. ...

I have been told I am too angry, to which I say: YOU ARE NOT ANGRY ENOUGH. Horrible evils have been done. Millions stood by and enabled it, even justified it. You listened to all the "right" people, and they lied to you. Don't be angry at me; be angry at them. They did this. I tried to stop it. Get on board or get out of the way. ...

Refreshing Truth on Sex and "Gender" Before the U.S. Congress

At a congressional hearing yesterday, the infamous Dr. Meredithe McNamara, a professor at the Yale School of Medicine who purports to be a defender of "gender affirming care" for children, was embarrassed twice. First, when challenged by Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX), she was unable to provide any peer-reviewed evidence that treatments provided under the guise of "gender affirming care" are indeed beneficial to children. 

As the Daily Wire reported, 

McNamara was unable to cite one study, falling back on the undefined “standards of care.”

“‘The standards of care.’ That’s not a journal. That’s not a study. That’s not an organization. It’s not an institution. You’re just saying words. Name one study,” Crenshaw chided.

Crenshaw cited reviews from the British Journal of Medicine, the Journal of the Endocrine Society, and the American Academy of Pediatrics, which all conclude there is little evidence that gender transition treatments are beneficial for minors.

He cited a review in the Journal of the Endocrine Society that found there is “low quality evidence for the idea that hormonal treatment improves quality of life, depression, and anxiety among adolescents.”

Additionally, Dr. Miriam Grossman further exposed the numerous lies of the transgender agenda, specifically calling out Dr. McNamara. It was beautiful to behold:

“Pride” is Nothing to Celebrate

In his seminal work Mere Christianity, the great Christian apologist C.S. Lewis describes “pride” as “the Great Sin,” “the essential vice,” “the utmost evil.” Lewis concludes,

Unchastity, anger, greed, drunkenness, and all that, are mere flea bites in comparison; it was through Pride that the devil became the devil; Pride leads to every other vice; it is the complete anti-God state of mind.

Thus, I suppose it is rather fitting that the “official” celebration of the evil LGBT agenda is called “Pride Month.” Few things today more encompass the wretched display of pride than what is exhibited when those under the throes of the LGBT agenda are unashamedly and boldly “out of the closet.”

Why was it—as this is typically no longer the case—that those with homosexual attractions had to come “out of the closet?” It was because to act on those attractions was often illegal, and—or at least—typically frowned upon by society at large. Why was homosexual behavior so stigmatized? Because it was once largely (and rightly) viewed as “unnatural” and immoral. 

It is important to note that things are not—or should not be—immoral because they are illegal, they are—or should be—illegal because they are immoral. And this is not to say that all immoral things should be illegal. The biggest achievement of the LGBT agenda has not been the reversal of U.S. laws that deemed homosexual behavior illegal, but rather a sea-change in the views on homosexuality in the American culture at-large. 

As was the case with all of the rotten and perverse fruit of the “sexual revolution,” this was largely accomplished by appealing to the pride of those who wanted to go their own way in the sexual realm. As C.S. Lewis noted, “pride leads to every other vice.” Homosexuality, pornography, promiscuity, and the like, are all born of the desire to ignore our Creator and write our own moral code.

It is telling that, before the LGBT agenda took root in America, pornography, promiscuity, sexually explicit displays throughout media, the “hook-up” culture, abortion (yes, abortion is a sexual issue), and so on, were being promoted and widely embraced across the U.S. Thus, no one should be surprised that once heterosexual immorality became entrenched in our culture, widespread acceptance of homosexuality would soon follow. Immorality breeds immorality.

It is also telling that, the sexual revolution that infected America flourished once those devoted to such a perverse agenda gained power. U.S. courts, politicians, academics, influential media personalities—and most tragically, even those within the church—alike all played a role in the pervasive spread of the sexual revolution. Power and pride go hand-in-hand, “For, of course, power is what Pride really enjoys,” writes Lewis. He adds,

There is nothing that makes a man feel so superior to others as being able to move them about like toy soldiers. What makes a pretty girl spread misery wherever she goes by collecting admirers? Certainly not her sexual instinct; that kind of girl is quite often sexually frigid. It is Pride. What is it that makes a political leader or a whole nation go on and on, demanding more and more? Pride again. Pride is competitive by its very nature; that is why it goes on and on.

Many were duped into believing that those promoting the LGBT agenda merely wanted to “live and let live.” However, as I’ve often noted, “live and let live” has never really been a trait of the LGBT agenda. Because of their desire to use their power to not only push their agenda, but to exact revenge upon those who stood in their way, the left’s Pride warriors have enthusiastically gone “on and on” targeting their opponents.

As Dennis Prager rightly noted earlier this year, “pride is not about tolerance—it is totalitarian.” One only has to examine those targeted in the marriage debate for evidence of this. However, the “transing” of America provides most of the recent and most egregious examples of LGBT totalitarianism. (For a chronicling of these efforts, see here.)

As I noted at the beginning of this piece, few things display the pride of humanity than unabashed displays of LGBT behavior. This is because, few things are further from the truth than the legal redefinition of marriage, and the absurd notion that one can change their sex. Again, almost nothing in the realm of truth is older than what is marriage, and what is a male and what is a female. This is because, “in the beginning” God revealed these foundational truths to us.

Of course, it is hard—if not impossible—to hear God when one is filled with pride. And if we’re not hearing God, then we are likely clueless as to what is sin. “Treason doth never prosper,” wrote English poet John Harington. He asks, “What’s the reason?” He concludes, “For if it prospers, none dare call it treason.” Likewise, sin “doth” never prosper. Why? Because if it prospers, none dare call it sin. This is where we are in America, instead of calling sin what it is, and dealing with it appropriately, we celebrate it, and misery ensues.

Again, C.S. Lewis was right:

The Christians are right: it is Pride which has been the chief cause of misery in every nation and every family since the world began…Pride always means enmity—it is enmity. And not only enmity between man and man, but enmity to God.

In God you come up against something which is in every respect immeasurably superior to yourself. Unless you know God as that—and, therefore, know yourself as nothing in comparison— you do not know God at all. As long as you are proud you cannot know God. A proud man is always looking down on things and people: and, of course, as long as you are looking down, you cannot see something that is above you.

The ultimate message of Pride Month is that God—if He exists at all—is a liar, and that you can do whatever you wish in the sexual realm without consequence. This is why no Christian should have any part of it. (This is especially the case when you are telling the world about The Chosen.)

Transgenderism and the War on Truth

In all the conversation that is prevalent throughout the Earth today, there is almost nothing further from the truth than the absurd and evil notion that men can become women, and that women can become men, or similarly, the idea that sex (or “gender”) is not binary and rather “a spectrum.” These ideas are so absurd and so far from the truth (in line with 2 + 2 = 5) that many modern liberals refuse—or perhaps more accurately, have yet—to embrace them.

We shouldn’t be surprised that we are now having to debate what is a male and what is a female, or that sex is binary. Transgenderism, and all its fallacies, is simply what results when one abandons the notion of absolute truth. The idea that some things are settled for all time is not a tenet of modern liberalism.

Saying that “some things are settled for all time” is simply another way of saying that we live in a universe where “absolute truth” exists. I’ve never quite understood why it’s “absolute truth” and not simply “truth.” Regardless, it is folly to suggest that some things aren’t immutably true. If anything exists, there must be truth. As St. Thomas Aquinas put it,

The existence of truth is self-evident. For whoever denies the existence of truth grants that truth does not exist: and, if truth does not exist, then the proposition ‘Truth does not exist’ is true: and if there is anything true, there must be truth.

The truth about truth flies in the face of those who wish to rule their own world and write their own moral code. So you see, transgenderism—like the marriage debate—is just another battle in the war on truth. Granted, it is a battle against one of the oldest truths—even older than the truth of what is marriage—in the history of humanity. Few things have been known longer than what is a male, and what is a female, yet the left’s war on this old and foundational truth rages on.

It rages on because if doubt can be cast on the truth of sex (males/females), then doubt (and subsequent lies) can creep into virtually ANY realm of truth. This is why the enemy of all humanity; the enemy of all truth—Satan—is so hard at work here. Yes, this is indeed a spiritual war, and The Father of Lies is winning many battles.

Satan has been so successful in the arena of biological sex that Scientific American—once a widely respected publication—recently published an absurd piece entitled Here’s Why Human Sex is Not Binary. Scientific American is the oldest continuously published magazine in the U.S. Noted scientists such as Einstein and Tesla contributed articles to it. Yet it seems now that, in order to further the leftist agenda, Scientific American is willing to abandon biology that children can comprehend.

After the Twitterverse called them out for going woke on biology, Scientific American doubled down on their wokeness. Just days after running the Here’s Why Human Sex is Not Binary column, Laura Helmuth, the Editor-in-Chief of Scientific American, in a tweet about White-throated sparrows, boldly declared “sex is not binary.”

The modern leftist agenda—which lies at the foundation of the Democrat Party, the mainstream American media, government schools, and the like—is itself a war on truth. As in any war, what the left seeks to do here is to replace their adversary—truth—with their own idea of “truth.” Of course, as the last several decades in America have proved, the left has had great success in supplanting the truth with their own perverse, evil ideology. Their wild successes in supplanting the truth of what is a male and what is a female alone proves this point.

In addition to corrupting formerly esteemed science publications, the highest court in the land, the U.S. Supreme Court, is now publishing opinions where males are referred to as females.  Again, this should come as little surprise as the author of the opinion herself, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, during her confirmation hearing, refused to define what is a woman. “I’m not a biologist,” she foolishly declared.

Numerous U.S. corporations are pushing the evil trans agenda. Adidas recently published an ad for a women’s swimsuit using a male model, complete with chest hair and an obvious groin bulge. Starbucks recently ran an ad in India marketing transgenderism in the Hindu-majority nation. Target is now selling chest binders, “tuck friendly” swimwear, and other woke and dangerous clothing to children!

Additionally, there are now near-countless states and other municipalities (run by Democrats) who are enshrining into law the “right” of one to simply declare themselves the opposite sex, along with the demand (or threat) that rest of us support and accommodate this evil. Those who refuse are targeted. As Orwell predicted, common sense has become heresy. In Nineteen Eighty-Four, Orwell writes,

In the end, the Party would announce that two and two made five, and you would have to believe it. It was inevitable that they should make that claim sooner or later: the logic of their position demanded it. Not merely the validity of experience, but the very existence of external reality, was tacitly denied by their philosophy. The heresy of heresies was common sense. And what was terrifying was not that they would kill you for thinking otherwise, but that they might be right. For, after all, how do we know that two and two make four? Or that the force of gravity works? Or that the past is unchangeable? If both the past and the external world exist only in the mind, and if the mind itself is controllable—what then?

Again, we shouldn’t be surprised we are debating what is a male and what is a female, the “logic” of today’s left demands it. The very existence of “external reality,” or truth, is tacitly loudly denied by their philosophy. And how do we know the truth about sex, marriage, and the like? Not merely because of “common sense,” but because of all that the Author of truth has revealed to us.

This is what is truly terrifying to the left: that there is a system of values—call it what you will, “absolute truth,” “external reality,” etc.—that is the ultimate source of all value judgements; that there is an Author of truth to whom we are all beholden; and that their system of “values”—especially on matters in the sexual realm—are afoul of what He has revealed.
