The American Left Has Long Been Littered with Lies and Liars

The day after Joe Biden turned in the horrific debate performance that many of us knew was coming, and after countless Democrat apparatchiks finally had to admit what many of us have long known—that Joe Biden is unfit to serve as U.S. President—Biden got out on the campaign trail and declared,

Folks, I don’t walk as easy as I used to. I don’t speak as smoothly as I used to. I don’t debate as well as I used to. But I know what I do know. I know how to tell the truth. I know right from wrong. 

Prior to this, immediately after the debate, and just after treating her husband like a five-year-old who had just finished his tee-ball game, Jill Biden led the faithful in declaring Donald Trump a liar. As Joe Biden continues to resist calls to drop out of the race (though, that could change soon), the American left is clinging to two particular refrains when it comes the race for the White House: Donald Trump is a liar and a “threat to democracy.”

The “threat to democracy” accusation is getting democrats virtually nowhere. In a richly hilarious bit of irony, a recent Washington Post poll found that Trump beat Biden by double digits (44% to 33%) in who would best protect America from “threats to democracy.” (Can you imagine how difficult it must have been for the Democrat lackeys at the Washington Post to publish these results?!)

Even more absurd is the Democrat Party touting their candidate—Joe Biden, or whoever it turns out to be—as an agent of truth. When it comes to the most important moral issues of our time, few entities have been on the wrong side of the truth more often than has the Democrat Party and their apologists.

The democrat platform has long been a mountain of lies. On everything from abortion to “universal health care,” the Democrat Party has lied repeatedly, for decades. Since at least the early 1970s, in order to justify killing the most helpless and innocent among us—the unborn—the American left has continuously dehumanized the unborn. They have told countless lies about the consequences of killing a child in the womb. They have even gone so far as to attempt to justify what could only be described as infanticide.

The numerous lies surrounding abortion were born from the left’s lies on sex. With devastating consequences, the left has preached to generations of Americans the pagan principle “Do as thou wilt” when it comes to matters in the sexual realm. Thus, millions of Americans have been deceived into believing that they can have sex whenever they like, with whomever they like, without consequence. And, of course, if an unwanted child results, the left demands the “right” to kill it.

Likewise, the evil LGBT agenda was born out of the left’s lies on sex. Among much other wickedness, the LGBT agenda has resulted in the perverse lie that is same-sex “marriage” along with the absurd lie that, through mutilating their bodies, human beings can change their sex.

In the name of more power and control over our lives—just as we saw with COVID—the left continues to promote the lie that man-made global warming climate change threatens the planet. This lie has become the “new religion of first world elites.” This lie also demands trillions of dollars in a foolish and ineffectual “energy transition,” that the use of fossil fuels must stop, and that we should eat bugs instead of beef.

The left’s lies on police and crime have led to pervasive and enduring lawlessness in numerous American cities. Of course, this resulted from the widespread effort to “defund the police” in democrat-controlled cities and states. Because the left can’t tell the truth about crime, Democrat-run cities are also littered with the homeless, squatters, and drug users to the point that millions of Americans are fleeing these liberal hell-holes.

In an attempt to “Make America Mexico Again,” or to import more democrat voters, the left continues to lie about their desire for open borders and the devastating consequences of this destructive, intentional policy. The Biden administration alone has lied over-and-over again about the crisis at our southern border. Unsurprisingly, the attempt to bolster this lie with virtue-signaling “sanctuary city” policies has backfired big time on Democrats.

One of the most lucrative lies for the left is the idea that “systemic racism” still plagues the U.S. This is a rather effective lie as well, as three-fourths of Joe Biden voters believe that America is a racist nation. Of course, it makes it rather easy to paint a nation or an individual as racist when almost everything that exists can described as “racist.”

For example, according to the left, merely wanting peace and quiet is now “white supremacy.” Similarly, being fit is racist, the Electoral College is racist, math is racist, and even being born white is racist.

And who can forget the left’s repeated lies on Trump-Russia collusion and the Hunter Biden laptop? What’s more, the left has long lied about guns and gun violence, education, the economy, and even the nature of truth itself.

The left lies as if it were its native language. For many years now I have said that one of the greatest tools of Satan in the world today is the Democrat Party. In John 8:44, speaking of Satan, Jesus declares, “When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” Given how frequently and demonstrably the left lies, it seems my claim is spot on.

Even SCOTUS Leftists Have to Lie to Further the Left’s Wuhan Virus Narrative

Make no mistake about it, leftists lie. This is especially true of leftists in politics and the media. In fact, on most any matter dear to the left’s perverse agenda, one is safer assuming that the leftist you’re hearing or reading is lying. Thus, almost no one should’ve been surprised at the wild (and numerous) lies hurled by Supreme Court Justices Elena Kagan, Stephen Breyer, and Sonia Sotomayor during oral arguments over the Biden Administration’s private sector Wuhan Virus vaccine mandate.

Early in the hearing, Justice Kagan called the Wuhan Virus “the greatest public health danger that this country has faced in the last century.” She added, “More and more people are dying every day. More and more people are getting sick every day. I don’t mean to be dramatic here. I’m just sort of stating facts.” I suppose “sort of stating facts” is like “sort of telling the truth,” but it is really just a leftist’s way of saying “I’m feeding you a crock of crap!”

Of course, Kagan’s statements here are premised on the notion that we can even trust the U.S. Wuhan Virus numbers—we can’t. But even if we could, the number of Wuhan Virus deaths in the U.S. are lower than they were in late August of last year, and far lower than they were when (early December of 2020) then President-elect Biden said that “No — I don’t think it [Wuhan Virus vaccine] should be mandatory. I wouldn’t demand it to be mandatory.”

Later in her exchange with Scott Keller, seemingly defending Biden’s mandate, Kagan stated,

We all know what the best policy is. I mean, by this point, two years later, we know that the best way to prevent spread is for people to get vaccinated and to prevent dangerous illness and death is for people to get vaccinated. That is by far the best. The second best is to wear masks.

These statements are worse than her others. Two years into this virus, there’s little in the data that show that the “best way to prevent spread” of the Wuhan Virus is to get people vaccinated. On the contrary, vaccines haven’t stopped the spread of the Wuhan Virus. Some of the most infected places in the U.S. are those with some of the highest rates of vaccination and mask use.

Tellingly, these (Democrat dominated and led) parts of the U.S. have also enacted lengthy and widespread mask mandates. None of this has been effective in preventing the spread of the Wuhan Virus. How many more times must we tell leftists that masks (especially cloth masks) are nearly useless in stopping or even slowing the spread of the Wuhan Virus?!

Justice Breyer told Mr. Keller,

The hospitals are today, yesterday, full, almost to the point of the maximum they’ve ever been in this disease, okay? And you heard references, studies, I mean, they—they vary, but some of them say that the hospitalization is 90 percent or maybe 60 percent or maybe 80 percent, but a big percent, filled up yesterday or the day before with people who are not vaccinated, okay? So that’s—we’re talking about now.

These statements are patently false. U.S. hospitals are not full of Wuhan Virus patients. They are not “full” of patients in general. According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), only about 17 percent of all U.S. hospital beds are occupied by Wuhan Virus patients. Breyer seems to have no idea what the number is. There’s a vast difference in 60 percent capacity vs. 90 percent capacity, yet Breyer tosses both numbers out.

The most egregious lies on the Wuhan Virus during the mandate arguments were uttered by Justice Sonia Sotomayor. She declares that “Omicron is as deadly and causes as much serious disease in the unvaccinated as Delta did.” This is false. She then stated that “We have hospitals that are almost at full capacity.” Maybe some are, but most are not.

The biggest lie of the day was when Sotomayor said, “We have over 100,000 children, which we’ve never had before, in—in serious condition and many on ventilators.” Whatever metric one wants to use, at no point during this tragic episode have children been in “serious” danger from the Wuhan Virus. In two years of this, there hasn’t been a total of 100,000 children hospitalized in the U.S. due to the Wuhan Virus. Again according to DHHS data, currently there’s just over 3,300 U.S. children in the hospital with the Wuhan Virus.

Note that is with the Wuhan Virus, not from the Wuhan Virus. Even Fauci himself recently admitted “If you look at the children [who] are hospitalized, many of them are hospitalized with COVID as opposed to because of COVID.” U.S. children have suffered far more from the foolish lockdowns, mask mandates, and Wuhan Virus vaccines than they have from the virus itself.

If you’re going to lie to further a narrative, you should at least be good at it—especially if you’re sitting on the highest court in the land. This was indeed an embarrassing effort by the lying left!

We Are Being Lied To About the Wuhan Virus—Repeatedly

Because they’ve made a god of government, there’s seemingly always another low to which liberals will stoop in order to help slow, sleepy Joe defeat Donald Trump in November. Many of these lows involve the numerous nefarious reactions to the Wuhan virus. Make no mistake about it, we have suffered an unprecedented loss of jobs and businesses, the shutdown of schools, entertainment, and hospitals, the mandating of masks and “social distancing,” and the like, not because of a global pandemic, but because of our foolish and unprecedented reaction to a global pandemic. 

In other words, much of what was “unprecedented” in the fight against the Wuhan virus was simply unnecessary. As Tim Black at Spiked recently put it, because of what leftism has wrought worldwide, we have turned a pandemic into an apocalypse. Mr. Black writes, 

To varying degrees, political elites, screamed on by the media, have responded to the threat posed by this virus as if it is world-ending. As if it demands the complete reorganisation of social and economic life around the supreme principle of safety. As if there is no way back. They treat it not as a nasty virus that poses a significant but manageable health risk to certain sections of the populace. No, they treat it as a god-like judgement on the old structures of social life, now deemed, in the jargon of the day, unsafe and unsustainable. 

This is what is unprecedented. Not the novel virus itself. But the panicked, fear-laden and, in some quarters, gleefully apocalyptic response.

Because viruses are simply going to virus—not at all unprecedent—in order to keep the fear and the panic high, American leftists in politics, academia, and the media must regularly lie. This is especially the case as the lockdowns drag on and as the actual evidence contradicts what those who have a vested interest in keeping the Wuhan virus fear level high and the lockdowns in place are telling us. 

 

Probably the most repeated lie in this evil episode is the near-endless reporting on Wuhan virus “case counts.” As has been noted multiple times, these reports are filled with numerous deceptions. The drive-by media in my home state of Georgia again provides a clear example. 

About a week ago, an Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC) headline declared, “Georgia tops 300,000 cases; decline in new cases flattens.” The first two sentences of the article report that “Georgia has surpassed 300,000 confirmed coronavirus infections amid hints that a decline in new cases may be leveling out. With totals reported Thursday, Georgia is close to 301,000 COVID-19 cases.” 

 

The piece downplays the more important facts that hospitalizations and deaths in Georgia have long been on the decline with the supposed scary revelation that “the seven-day rolling average of new cases has drifted up for several days, and Georgia remains the state with the 12th most new cases per capita in the past 14 days, according to data kept by The Associated Press.” 

 

Again, without proper context, “300,000 confirmed coronavirus infections”--or any number of confirmed coronavirus infections--is a near-meaningless number. It’s akin to saying that 300,000 confirmed dollars has infected my bank account. Anyone wanting the correct context of my personal finances would ask, “Okay, over what period of time?” And, “How much is currently in your bank account?” 

 

The vast majority of those 300,000 cases in Georgia saw the person infected require no hospitalization and completely recover, or, more often than not, have no symptoms whatsoever. The latter is especially true if the infected was a child. What’s more, if it was a young person who tested positive, they were likely not to be contagious. In other words, as multiple studies have shown, children are in little to no danger from the Wuhan virus, and, if they get the Wuhan virus, they present little to no danger to those with whom they come in contact. The drive-by media almost always ignores these facts. 

 

In the meantime, all across America, those hoping to help sleepy, slow Joe over the November finish line—and others who are simply foolishly misguided—are constantly using case counts to keep some version of a lockdown in place. As some U.S k-12 schools, along with some colleges and universities, have now reopened, the drive-bys are enthusiastically reporting student case counts. 

 

The University of Alabama provides a great example here. Beginning in late August, the AJC began to target what they reported as a “spike in new coronavirus cases” that were supposedly “threatening to derail on-campus classes at the University of Alabama.” The AJC article continued:

The state’s flagship school reported 531 confirmed cases among students, faculty and staff since classes resumed in Tuscaloosa last week, according to an online COVID-19 dashboard that was unveiled Monday.

Another 35 cases were reported throughout the greater UA System, which includes six cases at UAB Birmingham, eight cases at UAB Huntsville and 21 cases at UAB Clinical Enterprise — for a total of 566 positive tests since Aug. 19, according to data.

So a few hundred cases — again, with no context given — out of tens of thousands of people was supposed to send us into a panic that would result in demands that colleges and universities across Alabama shut down. And if not shut down, then these schools were supposed to enact foolish, unnecessary, uncomfortable, and expensive Wuhan virus measures (masks, social distancing, bans on gatherings, and the like) that would make life difficult to miserable for most of those impacted. 

 

The AJC continued to perpetuate Wuhan virus fear porn with multiple reports on cases in Alabama’s universities. This culminated in a September 10 article that reported “new coronavirus cases soar past 2,000” at the University of Alabama. These scare tactics were not limited to Alabama universities. The AJC also produced multiple articles detailing Wuhan virus case counts — again absent context and full of fear-porn — at the University of Georgia. There was also an article gleefully reporting on the University of South Carolina suspending students because of a “pandemic pool party.” 

 

Of course, the drive-by media across the U.S. has played a similar game when it comes to schools and Wuhan virus cases. Nowhere in the AJC — and I would wager in any other drive-by media outlets — was this information presented (courtesy of Dr. Andrew Bostom on Twitter): 

So, as of just days ago, with over 48,000 reported Wuhan virus cases at 37 different U.S. universities, there have been only two hospitalizations and zero deaths! Based on what we already know about young healthy people, such data is totally unsurprising. Yet, based on this myriad of misinformation and deceit, schools across America continue to force foolish mask mandates and shut down in-person classes, sports, parties, meetings, and the like. Thus, for students and their parents, the bigger problem is not the Wuhan virus pandemic, but rather the Wuhan virus “CASEdemic” constantly trumpeted by the drive-by media. 

Whenever there is a tragic case of a child who has died and tested positive for the Wuhan virus, it is almost always the case that the child died with the virus and not from the virus. Nevertheless, as has been documented multiple times already, when a child has died and tested positive for the Wuhan virus, the media has often grossly, selfishly, and deceptively used these terrible tragedies to push their lockdown agenda. 

 

In Michigan recently, no less than the Chief Medical Executive  — Joneigh Khaldun — fraudulently announced that she was “so saddened to hear this week of a 2-month-old baby in Michigan who died because of COVID-19 (emphasis mine).” However, the 2-month-old actually died of a birth defect called gastroschisis, “a condition in which a baby is born with intestines located outside the body.” 

 

Such ugly fraud has been perpetuated numerous times across the U.S. by the media, politicians, school administrators, business executives, and medical personnel alike. Enough is enough! These Wuhan virus lies are disrupting and destroying lives and livelihoods. It’s long past time to end the lies and open the country!

The Safest Bet: Assume the Left is Lying

When Rolling Stone horrifically flubbed their infamous campus rape “exposé”—to the point that they were sued into requiring new ownership—it was noted that no one should have been surprised that a publication that has spent decades glorifying the hedonistic, misogynistic culture of sex, drugs, and rock-and-roll would botch a story revealing the so-called “rape culture” that supposedly existed on college campuses across the U.S.

Likewise, no right-minded person should be surprised that those devoted to a liberal worldview, where the absurd notion of “your truth” is the prevailing moral position, are so often wrong and/or deceptive. In spite of what you may have recently heard, living life according to “your truth,” in addition to often causing one to be “factually wrong,” also typically results in all sorts of immorality.

The evidence is all around us, every day. Speaking of being wrong every day—factually and morally—Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is the “gift” that keeps on giving. It’s quite an accomplishment to set oneself apart in such a way in the modern Democrat Party—the political arm of the American left. Nevertheless, in only a few days as an actual Congresswoman and only a few months in the national spotlight, Ocasio-Cortez has become a most “distinguished” deceiver.

Even Piers Morgan—no friend of the truth—recently took her to task for her deceit. In a blistering attack in the Daily Mail, Morgan lamented AOC’s (“Annoying Overhyped Charlatan” as Morgan labeled her) “inability to tell the truth.” He went on to note her “lying on the record about unemployment numbers, ICE bed quotas, America’s upper-middle class not existing, Medicare costs, and Affordable Care Act payment systems.”

Morgan rightly concluded, “So when she bangs on self-righteously about the importance of facts, it’s worth noting that barely anything that comes out of her mouth seems to actually be factual.” Of course, AOC is far from alone. The modern Democrat Party is littered with lies and liars. This is what results when your party’s political agenda is premised upon multiple falsehoods. The perverse political platform of the modern Democrat Party is a myriad of lies.

For example, there is nothing in the sexual realm with which today’s left can be trusted. They can’t be trusted on life, they can’t be trusted on marriage, they can’t be trusted on sexual behavior, they can’t be trusted on sexual assault, and they can’t even be trusted on who is a male and who is a female. Time and again today’s leftists have demonstrated themselves to be tools of the enemy of all mankind when it comes to sex.

Thus, whenever a leftist politician, pundit, celebrity, CEO, or citizen starts pontificating about matters concerning “four (or more) bare legs in a bed,”—often demonstrating a stunning ignorance of the anatomy between said legs—you know almost certainly he or she is lying. Of course, it’s not as simple as licentious leftists preaching a hedonistic lifestyle and seeking willing converts. Because they have made a god of government, the modern left is all too willing to use the power of government to give their wickedness the force of law. If deception is necessary to accomplish such, so be it. After all, what’s a lie to those willing to kill the most innocent and helpless among us and willing to legally redefine the oldest institution in the history of humanity?

Because the left has made a god of government, anyone in government who stands in opposition becomes a target. The higher in government the opposition, the bigger the target. The bigger the target, the more desperate the left becomes, thus the more frequent and egregious the lies. President Trump and Justice Brett Kavanaugh provide the ugliest lessons here.

The most recent Buzzfeed fiasco is just the latest example of a left-wing media so desperate to get rid of President Trump that there’s almost no “unverified” tale they won’t publish. This is especially the case when it comes to the ever-elusive proof of Trump-Russia election collusion. This political unicorn has led the left into dozens of significant falsehoods, which has led to thousands of fake media reports.

As is the case with abortion and marriage, the left’s lies on Russia and collusion are not mere chatter. The left isn’t content merely to smother the airwaves and the internet with “Trump stole the election!” People are getting indicted, and more often than not, they are “indictments in search of a crime.” As Alan Dershowitz noted after the recent arrest of Roger Stone:

I’ve read the indictment. It’s a typical Mueller indictment. Very, very heavy on stories, stories involving collusion and WikiLeaks but the indictment itself all relates to obstruction of justice, tampering of witnesses. In other words, crimes that occurred as a result of the investigation. 

This is typical of Mueller. He has found almost no crimes that occurred before he was appointed special counsel. He was appointed special counsel to uncover crimes that had already occurred. He has virtually failed in that respect in every regard.

Almost all of his crimes that’s he’s indicted people for are crimes that resulted from his investigation. False statements, tampering with witnesses, obstruction of justice. I went through today the list of all the people who have been indicted by Mueller and it was very hard to find any American who had been charged with any crime that occurred before Mueller was appointed special counsel. 

So what happened here is these are crimes generated by the investigation. It doesn’t make them any less criminal, but it really means that there's been a failure to uncover the basic crimes for which he was appointed. Namely, before he was appointed, was there illegal collusion, illegal conspiracy with Russia? We don’t find that.

The slandering of Brett Kavanaugh during his hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee is one of the lowest political moments in the history of the U.S., and the highest levels of the Democrat Party were complicit. More than one person lied in the evil efforts by liberals to keep Brett Kavanaugh off of the U.S. Supreme Court. As elected democrats pursued their witch-hunt against Kavanaugh, their stooges in the left-wing media were very eager to aid and abet.

Time and again it was obvious the case against Kavanaugh was built upon a mountain of lies, yet the left persisted. From Rhode Island to California, the left’s wicked lies about the “Devil’s Triangle” and “gang rape” spread like wildfire. Because they viewed him as a threat in their unconstitutional efforts to legislate from the bench, Kavanaugh was forced to defend himself against multiple uncorroborated accusations, many of which were proven to be false.

Given that the left will boo God, thunderously applaud the legalization of infanticide; given their belief in “white skin privilege” and animus for anything Trump, no one should be surprised that like-minded leftists would viciously attack Catholic pro-life high school students. The only “crime” committed by the Covington Catholic high school boys is that they are Christian, white, pro-lifers who wear MAGA hats. Yet, even after the original narrative of the Covington students was proven false, many on the left continued to harass the high school students with lies.

A parent of one of the Covington Catholic high school boys who called into Rush Limbaugh’s show is right:

You know, the only thing I can think of, Rush, when you say, “How do people think like this?” and whatever, is I have a strong belief — and this is one of the reasons I love Covington Catholic, the high school. Those who do not have faith lose their ability to reason.

Just prior to His execution, when He stood before Pilot, Jesus declared, “Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.” Sounding like someone who’s lost his ability to reason, Pilot retorted “What is truth?” Soon after, Pilot had Jesus brutally flogged and crucified. The modern left long ago decided Jesus was no source of truth and thus remains blind to the truth. Always remember this when you weigh their words.

Again: They Kneel for a LIE!

I remember when taking a knee in football was one of the most satisfying things in this life. It used to mean one of two things: a well-deserved respite from the grueling grind of sweltering practices during the hot and humid late summer weather of the pre-season or the final magnificent moments before a looming victory in America’s most popular sport.

I was privileged to play organized football only from 7th grade through 12th grade. (I’ve always said that I had NFL hands, but my place-kicker size, and tackle—or maybe tight-end—speed kept me out of “The League.”) My middle school coach was “Rolling Thunder” Roger Thurmond. He was dubbed such because he was a Vietnam veteran who lost both of his legs and thus (usually) coached from his wheel chair, and because he was perfectly fiery and fierce as he coached us to near-perfection—at least in my 8th grade year when we went 4-1.

Interesting anecdote: I’ve had a broken bone only twice in my life. It was the same bone both times: my right collar bone. The second time it happened was during tackling drills when I was in 10th grade. The first time it happened was when I was wrestling on the playground in first grade. The best part of the story: the same guy broke it both times! Even his name—Bart Black—rings of villainy! And the perfect conclusion to this anecdote: when we slinked off the playground in first grade to let our teachers know something was amiss, we were immediately sent indoors. In addition to robbing us of our playground privileges—and unaware of my broken bone (she thought I was trying to get out of trouble)—our teacher paddled both of us! How I miss those days!

There are more than a few men in the NFL these days who could use a good paddling and more than a few leftist talking-heads who could use a good lesson in the limits of “free speech.” As we must continue to endure the ongoing debate about NFL players taking a knee during the National Anthem, the commentary from sports pundits—who notoriously lean left, especially sports writers—is the most telling.

Of all people observing and commenting on this debate, sports journalists should understand better than most what are the boundaries of their First Amendment rights. This is especially true of sports talk-show commentators on TV and radio. Their ownership won’t allow them to say anything they want on any topic—especially when it comes to things deemed politically sensitive. Otherwise, viewers and listeners may tune out and there might be harm to the “infamous” bottom line. More than one such host has been let go from his or her job, suspended, demoted, or otherwise punished because he or she crossed a line on speech that ownership did not support.

In other words, anyone working for a private company has limits placed on his or her “free speech rights.” Yet as the debate over NFL players kneeling just won’t end, many pundits, NFL players themselves, and even ignorant and hypocritical (the NBA already has a ban on Anthem protests) NBA coaches have made this an issue about free speech. Just another sad consequence of the government’s virtual monopoly on education, I suppose.

No, this isn’t really about “free speech.” If a group of NFL players used the field to protest against same-sex “marriage,” abortion, or some other wicked perversion held dear by the left, I’m almost certain that many of those now yammering about “free speech” would quickly revert to “shut up and play.” Also, where are these First Amendment champions when it comes to real speech infringement—such as what we are witnessing all across America’s college campuses?

What this is really about is why a group of attention-seeking, privileged multi-millionaires have decided to use company time to disrespect their fans and their country. In other words, why do they kneel? If these kneelers decided to heed sound advice and use their own time to make their political and “social” points, would it make their cause any more honest? In short, no. It would make their league more profitable, but their cause would still be foolish and misguided.

Again—as shockingly few are willing to point out—they kneel for a lie! As I’ve noted before, the lie is this:

There’s widespread and institutionalized racism inside America’s law enforcement agencies, and black Americans are especially targeted. This racism has led to the deaths of a disproportionate number of innocent black Americans. In order to stop this heinous activity, we need more gun control legislation, more wealth redistribution, more job and education programs, [and the like] and thus Americans need to elect more Democrats.

The unpopular fact is that black Americans are much safer in the presence of law enforcement than they are in black communities, especially when such communities—because of things like the “Ferguson Effect”—have little or no police presence. The statistics makes this clear.

• According to the CDC, the leading cause of death among black males ages 15-34 is homicide. 
• According to the FBI, the vast majority (over 90%) of black homicide victims were killed by other blacks. 
• For decades, black Americans have been more likely to be victims of violent crime (almost always at the hands of other black Americans) than are white Americans. 
• Time and again it is revealed: when police stop policing, crime increases, and black citizens suffer disproportionately. 
• The most dangerous neighborhoods in America—all with large (usually majority) black populations—are dominated by Democrats and liberal politics. 

What’s more, according to Heather MacDonald, a police officer is 18.5 times more likely to be killed by a black perpetrator than an unarmed black person is to be killed by a cop. In other words, it’s much more dangerous to be a police officer staring down a black perpetrator than it is to be an unarmed black suspect encountering a cop. And perhaps the most shocking statistic of all: Black men in the U.S. are half as likely to die if they are in prison than if they are not. As Yahoo News noted,

Less than one percent of men (more than half of whom were black) in total died while in prison, and there was no difference between black and white inmates in that regard.

As Yahoo also points out,

If prisoners are better off in prison, then what does that say about the conditions plaguing low-income communities and the services being offered to people of color?

What it says—and what many have long been saying, including some wise members of the NFL— is that, when it comes to violence and crime in our communities we don’t have a skin problem—as in the case with our schools—we have a sin problem.

Specifically, we have a breakdown of the family problem. The fatherlessness that plagues our urban areas—especially black families—has led to a myriad of problems, not the least of which is criminal activity. This is the real problem we should all be on our knees about, and to which high-profile athletes should devote their attention.

Benghazi is What Happens When the Liberal Narrative on Islam Prevails

The final Benghazi Report is out, and it is a revealing and thorough indictment of the actions of President Obama, Secretary Clinton, and many within the Obama administration.

After Benghazi, where four Americans were killed as the result of a coordinated attack by radical Islamists upon an American embassy, the Obama administration--including Hillary Clinton--immediately put forth the narrative that the attack was the result of a YouTube video, Innocence of Muslims, that was critical of Islam. Of course, the liberal mainstream American media--the same media we're suppose to trust to fairly cover the final Benghazi Report--played right along and helped further the lie that the attack was the result of a video.

In her deceit over the video, days after the attack, and after she had already declared that she knew the attack was not the result of any video, Hillary Clinton went so far as to shake the hand of Charles Wood, father of Benghazi hero Ty Woods, and told him, "We are going to have the filmmaker arrested." The efforts of Clinton, Obama, and others within the Obama administration and the media who aided and abetted the false video narrative, were so effective in their lies that the creator of the video, Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, was arrested.

Of course, we now know that the Obama administration repeatedly lied to and misled the American public about the Benghazi attack. Then, four years later, the Orlando massacre happens, and the Islamic apologists within the Obama administration again attempt to cover-up what really happened when a radical Islamist kills 49 inside a nightclub.

As if it needed to be said again, liberals simply cannot be trusted when it comes to Islam, radical Islam, and the safety of Americans. Marco Rubio could not have been more right when he declared,

Hillary Clinton is disqualified from being commander-in-chief of the United States," Rubio said at the Jan. 14 debate. "Someone who cannot handle intelligence information appropriately cannot be commander-in-chief, and someone who lies to the families of those four victims in Benghazi cannot be president of the United States."

From Immoral to Disorder to Celebration (The Transexual Lie)

As I noted in my last column, one of the greatest lies ever told is that our sin is not really sin. Guess where that leads us? It leads to men like Bradley Manning. Of course, Manning is the American soldier convicted of, among a myriad of other charges, violating the Espionage Act. Manning’s crimes got him a 35-year sentence at the military prison in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. However, his crimes (or what should be considered crimes) against the country may not be complete.

After his sentence, Manning released the following:

"As I transition into this next phase of my life, I want everyone to know the real me. I am Chelsea Manning. I am a female. Given the way that I feel, and have felt since childhood, I want to begin hormone therapy as soon as possible. I hope that you will support me in this transition. I also request that, starting today, you refer to me by my new name and use the feminine pronoun (except in official mail to the confinement facility)."

Manning closed his statement with, a “Thank you,” and “Chelsea E. Manning.” Despite his request, Private Manning has a problem: according to a prison spokesman, Fort Leavenworth does not provide services (i.e. hormone therapy) beyond psychiatric care. (How sad is it that such a pronouncement needs to be made?)

Fear not, supporters of transgender rights. Manning’s lawyer, David Combs, declared, “I’m hoping that Fort Leavenworth would do the right thing and provide that [hormone therapy]. If Fort Leavenworth does not, then I’m going to do everything in my power to make sure that they are forced to do so.”

In other words, according to Mr. Combs, the “right thing” would be for the American taxpayer to foot the bill for Private Manning’s change from male to female. Never mind that such therapy cannot (and never will be able to) accomplish such a change. But even if it could, note the liberal hubris required of Manning’s lawyer to imply that it is the responsibility of U.S. taxpayers to fund Private Manning’s perversion.

Now, Mr. Combs did not directly mention the American taxpayer. He hoped that “Fort Leavenworth would do the right thing.” Being a lawyer, Mr. Combs is certainly no dummy, but maybe, as are so many “low-information” voters, he is so entrenched in liberalism that he assumes Private Manning’s gender change will be paid for with “Obama’s stash.”

Almost certainly, Manning, Combs, and other like-minded liberals view Private Manning’s desire to change his gender as a “right.” Thus, the lawyers are only too willing to “force” us to do the “right” thing.

Notice that? Mr. Combs made a moral appeal. He wants us to do the “right” thing. For the vast majority of the history of this country (and for millennia the world over) the right thing to do when it came to transexuality was to treat it as a disorder that needed to be cured. Not that history and tradition alone are always the hallmarks for what is good and right, but in this case they do not stand alone.

Most every moral code we know of throughout the history of the world has regarded behaviors such as transexualism as immoral (or at least perverse). Certainly most (and until just recently, virtually all) within Christianity, Judaism, and Islam see such behavior as immoral. But not liberalism—which corrupts everything it infects.

Liberalism has corrupted our government, our judiciary, our campuses, our churches, and our science. Case in point: asI noted in early June, when the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM) was released this year, gender identity disorder was removed. The AP noted, “a growing faction of medical experts who no longer see this as something to be fixed.”

Don’t worry, though. The DSM 5 made up for the loss of gender identity disorder—with plenty to spare. So much so that the chair of the DSM 4 task force, Doctor Allen Frances (currently professor emeritus at Duke University, who also worked on DSM 3) called the release of the “deeply flawed” DSM 5 “the saddest moment in my 45 year career of studying, practicing, and teaching psychiatry.”

Dr. Frances laments the addition of such “disorders” as Disruptive Mood Dysregulation which, according to Frances, “will turn temper tantrums into a mental disorder.” In addition, “Normal grief will become Major Depressive Disorder” and the DSM 5 “will likely trigger a fad of Adult Attention Deficit Disorder [we’re already seeing the commercials] leading to widespread misuse of stimulant drugs for performance enhancement and recreation.” Great—Alex Rodriguez can resurrect his career by claiming he has ADD.

Frances should not be surprised. Practicing psychotherapist Gary Greenburg says that not one of the disorders in the DSM is real. Greenburg claims that the DSM is nothing more than an exercise in rhetoric; an attempt to legitimize the practice of psychiatry. “Can you define mental illness?” The Atlantic asked Greenburg. “No. Nobody can,” he replied.

In a culture that is increasingly more hesitant to use the word “evil,” Greenburg concludes that having the American Psychiatric Association (who owns and publishes the DSM) classify certain behaviors as “disorders” is a way to remove the moral aspect behind certain behaviors.

After all, if someone is sick, then he or she is not responsible for his or her behavior. (What’s more, they can then be treated—with expensive drugs and therapy, of course.) And if someone’s “sickness” is suddenly no longer a sickness, and if it is no longer immoral, then we can celebrate and welcome them into our ever more tolerant society. All we need are enough liberals in power to tell us when we’re enlightened enough to reach such a point. After all, it’s the “right” thing to do.
