In Defending “Transgenderism,” the Left Again Employs Scientism

In defending the hideously evil “transgender” agenda, the left frequently hails so-called “medical experts,” the “medical community,” “medical consensus,” and the like. In other words, we’re supposed to believe that men can become women, and vice versa, because the “expert class” has told us this is so. This is clearly the case in the recently decided Skrmetti case, where the U.S. Supreme Court (SCOTUS) upheld legislation from the state of Tennessee that protects children from medical mutilation in the name of “transgenderism.” 

Arguments from the left during the Skrmetti proceedings, and the left’s many complaints after SCOTUS’s 6-3 decision, often referred to the “expert class” as they tried to make their case for the absurd and evil idea that children could be subjected to heinous medical procedures in an ignorant and foolish attempt to change their sex. Thankfully, SCOTUS was having none of it, especially Justice Clarence Thomas.

In a separate, concurring opinion, Justice Thomas slams the left’s so-called “expert class.” Thomas writes,

The Court rightly rejects efforts by the United States and the private plaintiffs to accord outsized credit to claims about medical consensus and expertise. The United States [under the Biden Admn.] asserted that “the medical community and the nation’s leading hospitals overwhelmingly agree” with the Government’s position that the treatments outlawed by SB1 [the TN legislation] can be medically necessary. Brief for United States 35; see also Brief for Respondents in Support of Petitioner 5 (asserting that “[e]very major medical association in the United States” supports this position). The implication of these arguments is that courts should defer to so-called expert consensus.

There are several problems with appealing and deferring to the authority of the expert class. First, so-called experts have no license to countermand the “wisdom, fairness, or logic of legislative choices.”…Second, contrary to the representations of the United States and the private plaintiffs, there is no medical consensus on how best to treat gender dysphoria in children. Third, notwithstanding the alleged experts’ view that young children can provide informed consent to irreversible sex-transition treatments, whether such consent is possible is a question of medical ethics that States must decide for themselves. Fourth, there are particularly good reasons to question the expert class here, as recent revelations suggest that leading voices in this area have relied on questionable evidence, and have allowed ideology to influence their medical guidance.

Note that in his first and third points, Justice Thomas is basically saying that scientists (medical doctors, etc.) aren’t necessarily good legislators or policy makers. C.S. Lewis agreed. In 1958, in Willing Slaves of the Welfare State, Lewis wrote,

[T]he new oligarchy must more and more base its claim to plan us on its claim to knowledge. If we are to be mothered, mother must know best. This means they must increasingly rely on the advice of scientists, till in the end the politicians proper become merely the scientists’ puppets. Technocracy is the form to which a planned society must tend. Now I dread specialists in power because they are specialists speaking outside their special subjects. Let scientists tell us about sciences. But government involves questions about the good for man, and justice, and what things are worth having at what price; and on these a scientific training gives a man’s opinion no added value. Let the doctor tell me I shall die unless I do so-and-so; but whether life is worth having on those terms is no more a question for him than for any other man…I dread government in the name of science. That is how tyrannies come in.

The “expert class” and Lewis’s “specialists in power” are one and the same. After the Skrmetti ruling, the left continued to its appeal to their “expert class.” Writing of “puberty-blocking drugs and hormone therapies,” Scientific American declared “Their use for gender dysphoria is currently supported by the American Medical Association, the American Association of Pediatrics, the American Psychological Association and other important medical institutions.”

In a press release post Skrmetti, the American Academy of Pediatrics—no-doubt considering themselves a part of the “expert class”—stated “Gender-affirming care is medically necessary for treating gender dysphoria and is backed by decades of peer-reviewed research, clinical experience, and scientific consensus.”

In an interview after the Skrmetti ruling was announced, on MSNBC’s All In with Chris Hayes show, the aptly named “Chase Strangio”—the ACLU “transgender” (a “strangely” deceived woman pretending to be a man) lawyer who argued Skrmetti before SCOTUS—regularly referred to “doctors” or “experts” in attempting to make the case that we should allow children to be subjected to ghastly “transgender” treatments.

In other words, according to the left, we must completely surrender to transgender agenda because of “science.” Of course, real science is no friend to “transgenderism,” so the left must again rely on “scientism.” Whether or not you’re familiar with scientism, if you’re at least four years old, you’ve lived it.

The Covid era that we all suffered under was saturated with scientism. Anthony Fauci, et al reeked of scientism! Of course, scientism is not science. It is an ideology that is often confused with science. It is, rather, an abuse of the scientific method and scientific authority.

Scientism seeks to elevate the methods of natural science to a level where it is the bar by which every other intellectual discipline is held. Scientism ridicules faith and religion and tells us that “God is dead.” Scientism tells us that the “debate is over,” so shut up and get in line. Again, this was never more evident and real for us all than during the Covid era.

The left regularly employs scientism. Whether abortion, “climate change,” immigration, and the like, the modern left frequently appeals to the “experts” in an attempt to get their way. Adherents of scientism promote fear and anger to try and scare or enrage enough followers to accomplish their goals.

Leftists are more prone to fall into scientism because of their abandonment of God and His absolute truths. The “transgender” movement stands opposed to one of the oldest truths in the history of humanity, so of course “transgender” apologists must resort to scientism. Thank God, most of America simply isn’t falling for it.

The American Left Has Long Been Littered with Lies and Liars

The day after Joe Biden turned in the horrific debate performance that many of us knew was coming, and after countless Democrat apparatchiks finally had to admit what many of us have long known—that Joe Biden is unfit to serve as U.S. President—Biden got out on the campaign trail and declared,

Folks, I don’t walk as easy as I used to. I don’t speak as smoothly as I used to. I don’t debate as well as I used to. But I know what I do know. I know how to tell the truth. I know right from wrong. 

Prior to this, immediately after the debate, and just after treating her husband like a five-year-old who had just finished his tee-ball game, Jill Biden led the faithful in declaring Donald Trump a liar. As Joe Biden continues to resist calls to drop out of the race (though, that could change soon), the American left is clinging to two particular refrains when it comes the race for the White House: Donald Trump is a liar and a “threat to democracy.”

The “threat to democracy” accusation is getting democrats virtually nowhere. In a richly hilarious bit of irony, a recent Washington Post poll found that Trump beat Biden by double digits (44% to 33%) in who would best protect America from “threats to democracy.” (Can you imagine how difficult it must have been for the Democrat lackeys at the Washington Post to publish these results?!)

Even more absurd is the Democrat Party touting their candidate—Joe Biden, or whoever it turns out to be—as an agent of truth. When it comes to the most important moral issues of our time, few entities have been on the wrong side of the truth more often than has the Democrat Party and their apologists.

The democrat platform has long been a mountain of lies. On everything from abortion to “universal health care,” the Democrat Party has lied repeatedly, for decades. Since at least the early 1970s, in order to justify killing the most helpless and innocent among us—the unborn—the American left has continuously dehumanized the unborn. They have told countless lies about the consequences of killing a child in the womb. They have even gone so far as to attempt to justify what could only be described as infanticide.

The numerous lies surrounding abortion were born from the left’s lies on sex. With devastating consequences, the left has preached to generations of Americans the pagan principle “Do as thou wilt” when it comes to matters in the sexual realm. Thus, millions of Americans have been deceived into believing that they can have sex whenever they like, with whomever they like, without consequence. And, of course, if an unwanted child results, the left demands the “right” to kill it.

Likewise, the evil LGBT agenda was born out of the left’s lies on sex. Among much other wickedness, the LGBT agenda has resulted in the perverse lie that is same-sex “marriage” along with the absurd lie that, through mutilating their bodies, human beings can change their sex.

In the name of more power and control over our lives—just as we saw with COVID—the left continues to promote the lie that man-made global warming climate change threatens the planet. This lie has become the “new religion of first world elites.” This lie also demands trillions of dollars in a foolish and ineffectual “energy transition,” that the use of fossil fuels must stop, and that we should eat bugs instead of beef.

The left’s lies on police and crime have led to pervasive and enduring lawlessness in numerous American cities. Of course, this resulted from the widespread effort to “defund the police” in democrat-controlled cities and states. Because the left can’t tell the truth about crime, Democrat-run cities are also littered with the homeless, squatters, and drug users to the point that millions of Americans are fleeing these liberal hell-holes.

In an attempt to “Make America Mexico Again,” or to import more democrat voters, the left continues to lie about their desire for open borders and the devastating consequences of this destructive, intentional policy. The Biden administration alone has lied over-and-over again about the crisis at our southern border. Unsurprisingly, the attempt to bolster this lie with virtue-signaling “sanctuary city” policies has backfired big time on Democrats.

One of the most lucrative lies for the left is the idea that “systemic racism” still plagues the U.S. This is a rather effective lie as well, as three-fourths of Joe Biden voters believe that America is a racist nation. Of course, it makes it rather easy to paint a nation or an individual as racist when almost everything that exists can described as “racist.”

For example, according to the left, merely wanting peace and quiet is now “white supremacy.” Similarly, being fit is racist, the Electoral College is racist, math is racist, and even being born white is racist.

And who can forget the left’s repeated lies on Trump-Russia collusion and the Hunter Biden laptop? What’s more, the left has long lied about guns and gun violence, education, the economy, and even the nature of truth itself.

The left lies as if it were its native language. For many years now I have said that one of the greatest tools of Satan in the world today is the Democrat Party. In John 8:44, speaking of Satan, Jesus declares, “When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” Given how frequently and demonstrably the left lies, it seems my claim is spot on.

Matt Walsh Has the Right Take on "Try That in a Small Town" and Violence in Music

Jason Aldean's latest song, "Try That in a Small Town" has the left aghast. Supposedly Aldean's song is--of course--"raaaaacist!" and promotes violence. Of course, almost nothing is further from the truth. Along with lying about Aldean's song, the left also again demonstrates magnificent hypocrisy. The left has LONG looked the other way on a mountain of music that promotes, among many other evils, violence and sexual immorality. This especially includes "rap music." The hip-hop industry is littered with music and artists who promote violence, celebrate crime, degrade women, and attack police. Yet we're supposed to believe Aldean and his song are the problem. Again, the left is on the wrong side of the truth. Matt Walsh does an excellent job of explaining why:

The “Transgender” Lie: How We Got Here

In The American Conservative recently, in a piece entitled “The Coming Storm Over Trans ‘Tuskegee Experiment,’” Rod Dreher highlights a telling Twitter thread that reveals the tremendous angst and anger of a dad whose daughter’s life is now a “living nightmare” due to “demonic barbarity” of those behind the evil “transgender” agenda. In describing his daughter’s tragic mutilation, the father rightly declares,

We all know trans is a lie. Scientific American, the AMA, the pediatricians, none of them have even a fig leaf of an excuse. They will come to us for a do-over, but for the victims of their demonic barbarity, there will be no do-over and we will all be able to see that.

He continues:

It will never come.

There is no way to cross that chasm to find forgiveness for the people who knowingly turned the last 50 years of my daughter's life into a living nightmare.

Mr. Dreher declares,

There will be no justice until every damn doctor, hospital, and medical association responsible for this atrocity has been sued into the ground, and some of them imprisoned. Forgiveness? Yes, in time (though that's easy for me to say, as I have not suffered what this father has suffered) -- but only after full lustration, only after Nuremberg-like tribunals, only after the trials, only after utter and complete shame shattering all the luminaries and the institutions -- including the Democratic Party, the TV networks, the major newspapers -- which brought this evil onto the lives of American children and their families.

Mr. Dreher is exactly correct, though, given the condition of our country, I’m not convinced we’ll see justice in this world. Whether or not that happens, no one should be surprised that we are now having to debate who is a male, and who is a female. The truth on sex was long ago abandoned by the American left—and those like-minded—and with their numerous perversions on this matter, they have led millions astray.

The truth on sex was an early casualty in the American left’s long-waged war on the truth. For those who have foolishly decided to rule their own world—the age-old problem of humanity—going one’s own way in the sexual realm is a popular, and typically very early, decision. In America, around the middle of the twentieth century, “liberation” and “sexual freedom” were typical battle cries for those who wanted to pursue a life of sexual promiscuity and other hedonistic activities.

Long before the evil LGBT agenda was popular in the U.S., those devoted to the “theology of self” were peddling pornography and abortion on demand. Thus, rightly discerning followers of Jesus as a roadblock to their wicked pursuits, whether prayer in schools, public displays of the Ten Commandments, and the like, truth-deniers in America feverishly fought to remove any vestige of Judeo-Christian values from American culture.

As the “theology of self” began to prosper in America, divorce and out-of-wedlock birth rates sky-rocketed, and the widespread destruction of the family was well underway. As a result, children being brought-up in America were not only subjected to an increasingly godless worldview in their schools and the culture at-large—entertainment, news media, corporations, and so on—their homes were largely devoid of the truth as well.

In addition, as more and more U.S. children were being brought up in single-parent homes, their parent—almost always a mom—was typically forced to rely on the godless government and culture to act as a co-parent. Of course, this disturbing trend continues throughout America today.

After getting like-minded fools in the U.S. judiciary (the left has never had to rely on winning elections to get their way) to back their evil agenda, pornography, abortion, and the like, spread like wildfire through America. As abortion dominated the moral wars in America, the left soon targeted marriage itself. Again, though losing election after election on the definition of marriage, the courts began to give the left what it wanted on same-sex “marriage.”

This culminated in a 5-4 decision at the U.S. Supreme Court that legally redefined marriage throughout the U.S. Thus, the oldest institution in the history of humanity was redefined by five liberals. As I’ve often noted, marriage (the union of one man and one woman for life) is older than God’s covenant with the nation of Israel, older than The Law, older than the church. Marriage is one of the earliest truths revealed by God. If ANYTHING is true, marriage as the union of one man and one woman is true.

Yet, here we are, and the left’s war on the truth rages on. Because when one abandons eternal truth, there is virtually no limit to the extremeness and no end to the amount of folly that will follow, we now find ourselves regularly and passionately having to debate who is a male and who is a female.

Ignoring virtually the only thing with more precedent than marriage, the left throughout America is making laws and policies that redefine male and female. Schools, corporations, states (where democrats are in control), the federal government (when democrats are in control), the military, and so on, are pretending that we don’t know who is a male and who is a female. Of course, leftist judges are agreeing with this absurd evil.

I hope there is a reckoning on this grave matter. But given the quick and broad surrender on homosexuality and marriage, again, I’m not so sure that we will see it. One thing I am sure of: one of the biggest reasons that we are where we are on these issues is because the church has not taught and preached the truth frequently and loudly enough when it comes to sex and marriage. If you’re a follower of Jesus, it is your duty to boldly tell the truth on all these things. The silence is killing us.

Elaine Benes (of Seinfeld) Got Abortion "Rights" Right

In 1994, in the episode entitled "The Couch," Elaine Benes, a fictional character on NBC's Seinfeld, perfectly captured the modern left's views on abortion "rights." 

 

After telling a story of his mother's forced abortion, and revealing his opposition to killing children in the womb, Poppy declares, "So on this issue there's no debate, and no intelligent person can think differently." Elaine replies, "Well Poppy, I think differently!" Poppy asks, "And what gives you the right to do that?" Elaine tellingly--and emphatically--responds, "The Supreme Court gives me the right to do that!" 

I'm not sure if the writers of Seinfeld were attempting--if anything--to accomplish with that last line quoted above, but the notion that U.S. Supreme Court (SCOTUS) gave one "the right" to kill a child in the womb is exactly what happened in 1973. In other words, with its infamous ruling in Roe, the United States Supreme Court simply--and tragically--invented a "right" to kill children in the womb. 

As the recent majority opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson (which rightly overturned the decision in Roe v. Wade) notes, "The Constitution makes no reference to abortion, and no such right is implicitly protected by any constitutional provision, including the one on which the defenders of Roe and Casey now chiefly rely..."

So of course, what the Supreme Court giveth, the Supreme Court can taketh away, and that's exactly what happened in Dobbs. The left has long relied on the courts to give it what it couldn't accomplish through the democratic, legislative process. With Dobbs, the current SCOTUS put a halt to that with abortion. This should happen with a litany of issues near and dear to the modern left, including same-sex "marriage."

Leak of Dobbs Decision Shines Further Light on the Evils of the Modern Left

For decades, the American left has furthered its agenda via leftists on U.S. courts. Thus, as I have previously noted, in order to get their way on a wide array of issues—abortion, marriage, LGBT issues, immigration, and the like—democrats have not had to win elections. They merely needed control of the courts. With right-minded originalists replacing authoritarian leftists on courts throughout America, the left’s hold on state and federal courts (much credit to President Trump!) has waned. This is especially true with the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS).

Given its obsession with sex, among leftists, no issues are held in higher regard than abortion and anything related to the perverse LGBTQMYNAMEISLEGION agenda. Sexual perversion has become a sacrament among the modern left , and tens-of-millions of the most helpless and defenseless among us have literally been sacrificed in the name of “Do as Thou Wilt” in the sexual realm. Because they’ve been unable to get it done legislatively, much of the American left’s agenda accomplishments on these matters have happened via U.S. courts.

Thus the American left’s vitriolic reaction upon the egregious leak of a supposed SCOTUS majority opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson—which would overturn Roe v. Wade—should surprise no one. The leak was almost certainly a political stunt intended to intimidate pro-life justices, politicians, and citizens alike. This is what those who have made a god of government do. The left should make note: What the government giveth, the government can taketh away.

When one makes a god of government, virtually everything gets politicized. When most everything is politicized, much gets perverted. To keep their evil agenda alive, the left must constantly distort, deceive, and demonize. This was on clear display after the Dobbs opinion leak.

After the leak was announced, Hillary Clinton tweeted that reversing Roe would “will kill and subjugate women.” President Biden wondered if the next move for conservatives (i.e. the “MAGA crowd”) would be to make laws that prevent “children who are LGBT” from being in “classrooms with other children.”

Vice President Kamala Harris used the tired argument that “opponents of Roe want to punish women and take away their rights to make decisions about their own bodies.” Democrat representative Hakeem Jeffries added that the Dobbs opinion happened because the “radical right stole two seats on the Supreme Court.” References to The Handmaid’s Tale and the Dark Ages were rampant (thanks Libs of TikTok!).

The idea that reversing Roe would end “access to abortion” in the U.S. was a common refrain among the hyperbolic left. As many on the right side of this issue have long pointed out, this is nowhere close to the truth. Even if Roe is finally overturned—because such a decision would merely return the matter to individual states—tragically, throughout much of America, abortion would remain as legal as it is today. Many Democrat-dominated states have been expanding their abortion laws in anticipation of the fall of Roe.

The anger on display by leftists after the Dobbs leak is revealing and scary. A recent Mollie Hemingway encounter at the Supreme Court was sadly not that uncommon:

As now often is the case with the LGBTQMYNAMEISLEGION apologists (e.g., “Drag Queen Story Hour” and the like), pro-abortionists haven become more brazen in their defense of their so-called “right” to kill the most helpless and defenseless among us. Demonic-like anger is frequently on display when dealing with pro-abortionists. Decades of silence by many Christians—most tellingly, even during church services—on these grave moral issues has emboldened those steeped in darkness. This MUST change!

The calls for violence after the Dobbs leak were not hard to find. This was well chronicled by Jordan Boyd at The Federalist. Shortly after the leak surfaced, Ian Millhiser, a senior correspondent at Vox, tweeted, “Seriously, shout out to whoever the hero was within the Supreme Court who said ‘f-ck it! Let’s burn this place down.’”

Ms. Boyd also notes,

Other blue checkmarks on Twitter called for the nation, its institutions, and the highest court in the land to literally and figuratively burn to the ground.

Journalists were among the greatest offenders who publicly endorsed violence against justices who vote in favor of returning the abortion lawmaking back to the states.

When conservative commentator Allie Beth Stuckey noted that “conservative justices will have their lives and the lives of their families threatened,” The Nation’s Washington D.C. Correspondent Aída Chávez replied “good.”

Two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Laurie Garrett directly threatened Justice Samuel Alito, who reportedly authored the majority opinion, according to Politico.

“OK, Alito, I’ll call your ‘enflamed debate’ & ‘deepened division’ and raise you with millions of angry women in the streets. You #GOP folks want to play poker? Show your hand and watch what happens,” she wrote.

Given the wicked Summer of Rage that we witnessed in 2020, none of this should be taken lightly. Additionally, the left is now directly threatening conservative Supreme Court Justices. As Breitbart reports,

Justices John Roberts, Clarence Thomas, Amy Coney Barrett, Samuel Alito, Brett Kavanaugh, and Neil Gorsuch are all targets by an organization called, “Ruth Sent Us.” The organization has published the justices’ supposed home addresses online for the radical protestors to locate…

The website also asked protestors to “rise up May 8-15 and beyond… At the homes of the six extremist justices, three in Virginia and three in Maryland.” The site says the main protest is scheduled for May 11.

Again, none of this should be taken lightly. We’ve seen the awful consequences of leftist policies on plain display for years now in the Democrat-dominated cities across America. Arson, thefts, assaults, murders, and the like have exploded where leftism rules and leftists abound. If given enough cover by their allies in the drive-by media and the Democrat Party, I wouldn’t be a bit surprised to see violence visited upon conservative Justices.

However—and let this be a lesson to you John Roberts—this is NOT a time for weakness! The left cannot be appeased. They must be defeated—politically, spiritually, and so on. The best defense against their rampant evil is the light of the truth, whatever consequences it brings.

Why is Fox’s America’s Newsroom Promoting the Left’s Gender Propaganda?

On Tuesday of this week, Megan Fox at PJ Media reported on Fox News’ correspondent Bill Melugin’s somewhat foolish account of child rapist James Tubbs. While Melugin gets the heinous nature of Tubbs’ crime and the terrible response to it by the Los Angeles County District Attorney correct, he plays into the lefts’ hands when it comes to their perverse gender ideology. As Mrs. Fox notes,

While reporting on a gruesome story in which child rapist James Tubbs (who calls himself “Hannah”) has been caught on tape bragging about the light sentence he got after sexually assaulting a ten-year-old in a bathroom, Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin went out of his way to call Tubbs “she” and “her” multiple times on America’s Newsroom. It’s not only wrong but confusing to the audience. Why would Fox News join the woke gender bullies who demand that everyone gets their preferred pronouns no matter what our eyes tell us or despite whatever heinous crime they’ve committed?

Mrs. Fox goes on to note that,

Strangely, Melugin did not call Tubbs “she” and “her” on Tucker Carlson’s show, seeming to know the audience wouldn’t appreciate calling the convicted child rapist “she.” So what’s the story? Is Melugin required to use the preferred pronouns of psychopaths, or is it a personal choice?

Sadly, it seems that Melguin’s ignorant use of the English language is indeed an indication of policy on America’s Newsroom. Yesterday, in order to again discuss Tubbs’ case, the day after Melguin’s appearance, America’s Newsroom co-host Bill Hemmer had on Alex Bastian, a special advisor to inept Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon. In the segment, multiple times Hemmer referred to Tubbs using the female pronouns “she” and “her.” 

This is a shameful display and plays right into the hands of the evil LGBT agenda. To her credit, Dana Perino—the other America’s Newsroom co-host—read a quote from Tubbs’ victim. It declared,

The things he did to me and made me do that day were beyond horrible for a 10-year-old girl to have to go through. That man was very clear minded and old enough to know what he did that day was wrong and still did it anyway.

Perhaps this was Perino’s way of sticking it to the pronoun propagandists at Fox, and rightfully pointing out the truth on who exactly is James Tubbs. If that’s the case, then good for her. However, it shouldn’t be necessary, especially not when almost every other mainstream news organization in America long ago abandoned the truth on who is a male and who is a female.

Why is Israel So Hated? (Redux)

(Given the recent events in Israel, and given the tragically all too predictable reaction of the American left, my piece below from 2016 deserves reposting.)

Before getting to the question in the title of this piece, another question must be considered: Why is there a nation called Israel? This question begets other questions: How did Israel come into existence? And another: What purpose, if any (beyond the typical purposes of a nation), does the nation of Israel serve? Each of these questions is important when it comes to understanding the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and the centuries of hate and suffering endured by the children of Israel.

Most everyone with at least a spotty Sunday school background (fewer and fewer of us) knows something of the biblical account of “Father Abraham.” If nothing else, we can probably recall the ancient trilogy of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (who became “Israel”). Jacob—later named Israel—fathered twelve sons who would become the “twelve tribes of Israel” that would inherit the Promised Land. The Bible first mentions Abraham—initially named “Abram,” a decedent of Noah’s son Shem—in the chronology given in Genesis chapter 11. Genesis chapter 12 begins with the telling “Call of Abram.” It reads,

The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”

Note that the nation born of Abraham will be “a blessing” to the whole world. Scripture is replete with this theme. Genesis alone has several references. In addition to the above, there’s Genesis 18:18, 22:18, 26:4, and 28:14. Without using the word “blessing,” Scripture makes it clear that Israel is the vehicle through which God—in multiple ways—will bless the earth.

Scripture also makes it clear that Israel was not chosen because it was the largest and most powerful nation (Deut. 7:7), or because of her righteousness (Deut. 9:5). In other words, Israel was not chosen for the glory of (or to glorify) Israel, but to glorify the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. In other words, God chose the weak—Israel was in slavery when it became a nation—so that the world would know that the God of Israel was the one true God. (Egypt was the first to get a dramatic lesson.)

The idea that Israel was “set apart” as a “witness to the nations” is also a common thought throughout Judaism and Christianity—especially evangelical Christianity. Exodus 19:6 declares, “[Y]ou will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.” Isaiah 43:12 reads, “‘You are my witnesses,’ declares the Lord, ‘that I am God.’” One of the ways Israel was (and is) a blessing to the earth is the testimony of the Jews to the very existence of God. In the late nineteenth century England’s Queen Victoria reportedly asked her Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli, “Mr. Prime Minister, what evidence can you give me of the existence of God?” After thinking for a moment, Disraeli replied, “The Jew, your majesty.”

Interestingly—but unsurprising to those undeceived—modern science verifies what the Bible reveals when it comes to the Jewish people. For example, a study widely reported on in 2000 revealed that the Jews and the Arabs shared a common and genetic heritage. The study, published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, looked at the Y-chromosome—which is passed directly and unaltered from father to son—of male Jews and Arabs and found that they shared “a common set of genetic signatures.” Again, this should come as no surprise to anyone who knows Scripture. The two sons of Abraham were Ishmael—the son of Hagar and the patriarch of the Arabs—and Isaac, the son of Sarah and the patriarch of the Jews. Thus the “common genetic signature” is the result of both Jews and Arabs being descendants of Abraham.

Also, a 60 Minutes episode—of which I have the transcript—from the year 2000 reported on a genetics study that revealed a “priestly Y-chromosome” among the general Jewish population. In other words, all those who claimed to be Jewish priests (only males) shared a common male ancestor. As Lesley Stahl then reported, “The results proved that Jewish priests from all around the world are, in fact, descended from one single man, a common paternal ancestor somewhere back in time.” (GASP! I wonder who and when?!)

To tease her listening audience, Stahl asked, “How long ago did this great, great, great-grandfather live?” The scientist she was interviewing provided the answer: 3,000 years ago. In other words, right in line with the time-line presented by the Bible for when Moses’ brother Aaron—the patriarch of the Jewish priesthood—lived.

Another manner in which the Jews were a blessing to all of humanity, and another means through which they were a witness to all the earth, was through the written word of God. The Jews were God’s scribes, recording His words and deeds so that people might hear (or read) and believe. As the Apostle Paul, at the beginning of Romans chapter 3 notes, “What advantage, then, is there in being a Jew…Much in every way! First of all, they have been entrusted with the very words of God.” The oral, and eventually written Word of God is an amazing testimony of God’s existence, His presence, and His power.

And last, the redemption of all mankind came through the Jews. Jesus Christ, the Messiah, was a descendant of Abraham, born out of the tribe of Judah. As Paul also reveals in Romans, “the Jews and the Gentiles alike are all under sin” and in need of salvation. Of course, the message of Paul was the message of Jesus: whether Jew or Gentile, salvation is through Christ alone. Writing to the church in Rome, Paul concludes, “A man is not a Jew if he is only one outwardly…No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code.” (Rom. 2:28-29a)

After the message and ministry of Jesus, when followers of Christ became known as “Christians,” and like the Jews, they also became the target of much persecution. Though we are all under a new covenant with our Creator, the nation of Israel still stands as a testimony to the Truth. Because of this, the enemies of God continue to attempt to wipe Israel and the Jews from the face of the earth.

Remember When the Left Trumpeted Secession?

Because they are devoted to a theology of self, the hypocrisy of the left is almost as consistent as clockwork. The most recent case in point is the issue of secession in the United States of America. On December 9, Rush Limbaugh’s “Official Program Observer, Mr. Snerdley” asked Mr. Limbaugh, “Are we ever gonna be able to win again?” In his reply, which he based on what he was reading from “a lot of bloggers,” Rush went into how he thought America was “trending toward secession.”

Almost immediately, the left went berserk and wrongly accused Rush of advocating for secession. Geraldo Rivera said Limbaugh’s words were “reckless” and “irresponsible” and even implied that Limbaugh was guilty of “treason.”

Of course there was none of this hyperbole in November of 2016, when The New York Times—a mere two days after Trump’s election!—published an article that discussed secession talk out of California (“Calexit”) and Oregon in very favorable terms. One day after Trump’s election in 2016, NBC News also ran a piece on California and secession, with a similar sympathetic tone. Scan the internet in November and December of 2016 and you’ll find that these two leftist publications were far from alone when seriously and sympathetically discussing the secession of California.

In 2018, New York magazine’s website Intelligencer published a lengthy piece detailing what a divided United States might look like, complete with a map and numerous data from the “Blue Federation,” the “Red Federation,” and the “Neutral Federation.” In September of this year, The Nation did a long and fawning interview with leftist Richard Kreitner, a secession apologist.

In March of 2017, in a column entitled “Liberals’ New Separation Anxiety,” National Review’s Jim Geraghty noted that “Since Trump’s election, secession is all the rage on the left.” In the piece he pointed out that “Talk of state independence has cropped up in Vermont, Oregon, and Washington.”

And recent talk of secession isn’t limited to the Trump era. After George W. Bush beat John Kerry for the U.S. Presidency in 2004, a headline in The Washington Times read “Blue states buzz over secession.” The article declared,

One popular map circulating on the Internet shows the 19 blue states won by Sen. John Kerry — Washington, Oregon, California, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Maryland and the Northeastern states — conjoined with Canada to form the “United States of Canada.” The 31 red states carried by Mr. Bush are depicted as a separate nation dubbed “Jesusland.”

The idea isn’t just a joke; one top Democrat says…

Thus, as we see again, what’s good for the left can’t even be discussed by the right. This is the case because the modern left long ago seceded from the truth.

The Left’s War on Women

One of the ugliest secrets about abortion is that, worldwide, girls are much more likely to be killed in the womb than are boys. This has resulted in an alarming male-to-female ratio in multiple countries. Even the George Soros-funded Human Rights Watch has recently declared that “You Should Be Worrying about the Woman Shortage.”

The piece notes that in India and China alone, there’s “now an estimated 80 million extra men.” Surprisingly, the piece acknowledges that this gross disparity is due to the gross policy of sex-selective abortion. Unsurprisingly, instead of blaming the evil practice of the killing of any unborn child, the Human Rights Watch article blames “gender discrimination” and concludes, “When women lack equal rights and patriarchy is deeply engrained, it is no surprise that parents choose to not to have daughters.” Silly me. I thought the left supported any excuse to kill the unborn.

As most anyone with a proper worldview well knows, along with the tragic deaths of tens of millions of the most innocent and helpless among us, it turns out that the practice of abortion has other awful consequences. As Human Rights Watch notes,

The woman shortage is having harmful consequences in China and sometimes in neighboring countries. Human Rights Watch looked at one of those consequences for a report forthcoming in 2019 focused on bride-trafficking from Myanmar to China. In Myanmar’s Kachin and northern Shan states, bordering China, long-standing conflict escalated in recent years, displacing over 100,000 people. Traffickers prey on vulnerable women and girls, offering jobs in, and transport to, China. Then they sell them, for around $3,000 to $13,000, to Chinese families struggling to find brides for their sons. Once purchased, women and girls are typically locked in a room and raped repeatedly, with the goal of getting them pregnant quickly so they can provide a baby for the family. After giving birth, some are allowed to escape—but forced to leave their children behind.  

There is evidence of similar patterns of bride migration and trafficking in Cambodia, North Korea, and Vietnam, and more may emerge from other countries bordering China. Importing women doesn’t solve the shortage—it spreads it.

“Nothing like this has happened in human history,” begins a lengthy Washington Post piece from last year on the vast male to female ratio that exists in China and India. In over 6,000 words and four chapters, along with detailing the trafficking and purchasing of “brides,” the Post piece also notes the widespread loneliness and depression that grip men who have little to no hope at marriage and a family, and it rightly concludes that the sad consequences of killing unborn girls extends far beyond China and India. Yet, in all that ink, the Post mentions abortion once. Instead of pointing to abortion to explain why there are “Too Many Men,” the Post instead refers to various technologies and vague “policies.”

Just days ago, Breitbart reported on an investigation into 132 Indian villages where, over a three-month period early this year, zero girls were born. In 2016, The Daily Signal reported on a study that concluded that sex-selective abortions are a U.S. problem as well. Nevertheless, again demonstrating that they oppose any restrictions on the killing of the most helpless and innocent among us, democrats across the U.S.—including in a 2012 U.S. House vote on the matter—are near unanimous in their opposition to sex-selective abortion bans.

However, the modern left may have found a way to replace the millions of missing girls the world over: allow men to identify as women. According to current leftist-think, the millions of lonely men longing for a bride and a family should have no complaints or hesitation when it comes to dating and marrying a “trans-woman” (a gender-deluded man who’s pretending to be a woman). After all, men who refuse to date or marry a “trans-woman” would be guilty of “discrimination,” and there’s no place for that in the modern world.

Or perhaps there’s another way to solve the missing female/loneliness problem. Since the left has now decided that men can get pregnant and have abortions, and that marriage is whatever one wants it to be—and thus people can even “marry” themselves—lonely men can simply start a family by marrying themselves and having their own children—including girls!

Never mind that, among other wicked things, the absurdity of the evil trans agenda is literally taking trophies, medals, scholarships, and money away from women. As I warned years ago, whether high school, college, Olympic, or the professional ranks, women at every level of athletics are being threatened by the evil trans-agenda.

Even worse, gender-deluded men and boys invading locker rooms, bathrooms, and dressing rooms pose a great threat to women and girls. Of course, all of this is aided and abetted by leftist politicians—i.e., the Democrat Party—and courts. Thus, gender-deluded men and women continue to obtain political and legal protection for their perverse ideology. As I’ve warned (more than once), as a result of this perversion, real women and girls are chief among those who will suffer the most.

What set the trans-madness in motion was the epic and disturbing 5-4 (take note, John Roberts: liberals aren’t afraid of 5-4 rulings to overturn “precedent”) Obergefell ruling. Many warned of the wide-ranging and tragic consequences of legally redefining the oldest institution in the history of humanity. However, few imagined “married” homosexual couples using women as “breeding machines.”

Thus, and in spite of their efforts to paint conservatives as such, it is the totalitarian left who has given us real-life Handmaids. As Jennifer Hartline wisely put it,

People who are quick to fill social media with images of handmaids in red and denounce the diminishment of women to mere breeders seem to have nothing but adulation for gay men who literally use a woman — her body, time, energy, freedom, health, and her very life — in order to get what they want. These men do not need her as a person. They need her as a gestater, a human incubator. They have no real regard for the irreplaceable value and role of a mother in a child’s life. If they did, they could never contemplate what they are so pridefully pursuing.

Thus we see that it’s leftists who often have “no real regard” for mothers, or daughters, housewives, female athletes, young ladies, unborn girls, and so on. Women—and right-minded men—who vote would do well to remember this.

Fake Hate, Fake Collusion: All in the Name of Destroying the Trump Presidency

In more ways than one, hate-crime hoaxer Jussie Smollet is far from alone. He’s simply the latest in a long line of unhinged leftists with evil intent who are bent on destroying Donald Trump’s presidency. Be it fake hate or fake collusion, for nearly three years now, Donald Trump has been the target of an unprecedented campaign meant to end his candidacy and later, after his election as the 45th President of the United States, his presidency.

After the recent revelations of former deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe, there should now be no doubt as to the existence of a nefarious “Deep State.” As revealed by McCabe himself in his soon-to-be-published book, in May of 2017, angered by President Trump’s firing of his boss, then FBI director James Comey, McCabe and his like-minded cronies at the FBI and the Justice Department foolishly plotted as to how they might invoke the 25th Amendment and remove the duly elected President from office.

As former Clinton pollster and chief strategist Mark Penn recently put it,

The most egregious anti-democratic actions ever taken by the what can now fairly be called the Deep State are confirmed with the publication of fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe’s new book detailing how the FBI and Justice Department plotted to remove President Trump from office for firing FBI Director James Comey.

Justice Department and FBI officials spied on U.S. citizens with false warrants, gave a pass to one presidential campaign with a predetermined investigation, investigated another political campaign on the basis of no verified evidence, and illegally leaked information on investigations. They discussed wiretapping and using the 25th Amendment to the Constitution to remove President Trump, and appointed a special counsel as a retaliatory move for Comey’s firing.

The Manhattan Institute’s Roger Kimball is right, “this plot to destroy a presidency is the most serious political scandal in our history.” Kimball notes,

[P]eople in the FBI (aided and abetted by elements in the CIA and the Obama administration) decided that they didn’t like the person who had been elected President of the United States. Their anger and frustration boiled over when the President had the temerity to fire their man, James Comey. So they plotted to get rid of him.

The FBI didn’t like the President, so they plotted to remove him from office. That is the irreducible minimum, class, that you should take away from this whole sordid lesson. Top figures in the Federal Bureau of Investigation did not approve of the President. Therefore, they took steps to destroy him. Rod Rosenstein, Deputy Attorney General, several times offered to wear a wire to entrap the President.

“The most serious political scandal in our history” and, at best, most of the media yawns. At its worst, the left-wing media—of course, the vast majority of print and TV media—aided and abetted this despicable, deceitful plot. The ever-elusive Trump-Russia election collusion unicorn—like the always looming but never present global warming apocalypse—has led the left-wing media into dozens of significant falsehoods, which has led to thousands of fake media reports.

The left isn’t content merely to smother the airwaves and the internet with “Trump stole the election!” People are getting indicted, and more often than not, they are “indictments in search of a crime” as Alan Dershowitz recently put it upon the arrest of Roger Stone. As many have pointed out for nearly two years now, you need a crime to appoint a special counsel. You don’t appoint a special counsel and then hope that certain individuals will commit crimes for which they can be indicted, fined, bankrupted, or even jailed.

Yet almost every crime that has resulted in a Mueller indictment has come as the result of his investigation. Lying to investigators, tampering with witnesses, obstruction of justice—virtually all such crimes occurred after Mueller’s appointment as special counsel. Of course, this doesn’t bother men like McCabe.

As Byron York reports, “after the Comey firing, McCabe was determined to cement in place a Trump-Russia investigation that could not be stopped by the president.” What investigation—or, as York notes, “investigations”—can be stopped when the investigator is creating his own crimes? As York also points out, an excerpt from McCabe’s book declares that he wanted an “overall review” of the FBI’s Trump-Russia work.

McCabe wrote, “I want to protect the Russia investigation in such a way that whoever came after me could not just make it go away.” The ongoing Trump-Russia-collusion “investigation” proves, getting Rod Rosenstein to appoint Mueller makes McCabe look very successful in this regard.

Of course, long prior to Mueller’s appointment, Trump-haters within the FBI, such as lying McCabe, and the adulterous Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, were scheming of ways to end Trump’s presidency. As Business Insider reminds us,

• Peter Strzok, the second-highest ranking counterintelligence agent at the FBI, was involved at key junctures in the Hillary Clinton email investigation and the Trump-Russia probe.
• Strzok was reportedly the official responsible for changing language in former FBI director James Comey's statement describing Clinton's private email server use from “grossly negligent” — which could carry criminal penalties — to “extremely careless.”
• Strzok was also the FBI agent who officially signed off on the bureau's decision to launch its Russia investigation in July 2016.

Most now well know that in order to justify his investigation into the Trump campaign, Strzok relied on the infamous Steele “dossier.” As The Federalist recently noted,

[T]he so-called Steele dossier was always the impetus for the Russia investigation. But calling this a “dossier” is too generous. This is a Word document that was funded by Hillary Clinton’s campaign, written using paid, shady, and unknown Russians. This Word document was used to spy on the opposing party’s presidential campaign, despite the fact that nothing in the document that wasn’t public information checked out. McCabe and company wanted to believe the dossier. But that’s all they ever had.

Anyone who has read the House Intelligence memo released just over a year ago now knows that:

• Christopher Steele “was paid over $160,000 by the DNC and the Hillary Clinton campaign, via the law firm Perkins Coie and research firm Fusion GPS, to obtain derogatory information on Donald Trump’s ties to Russia.
• Steele “maintained contact with DOJ via then-Associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr, a senior DOJ official who worked closely with Deputy Attorneys General Yates and later Rosenstein.”
• Steele admitted to Ohr that he “was desperate that Donald Trump not get elected and was passionate about him not being president.”
• “During this same time period, Ohr’s wife was employed by Fusion GPS to assist in the cultivation of opposition research on Trump…” and Ohr’s wife’s research was “paid for by the DNC and Clinton campaign via Fusion GPS.”
• McCabe testified before the House Intelligence Committee that “no surveillance warrant would have been sought from the FISC without the Steele dossier information.” Yet the initial FISA application ignored or concealed Steele’s anti-trump motivations.

Of course, Strzok and others in the FBI/DOJ shared Steele’s desperation and deceit. This led to the so-called “insurance policy” that was and is the Trump-Russia-collusion investigation.

This unprecedented attempt at a political coup to unseat a U.S. President goes far beyond rogue elements in the FBI and the DOJ. As much of the above reveals, Hillary Clinton’s and the DNC’s fingerprints are all over this political travesty. But very little of the above—including what we’ve heard from McCabe these last few days—is new information. Andrew McCabe is trying to sell books, and CBS was after ratings.

Along with the collusion-deluded, impeachment-obsessed political hacks in the FBI, DOJ, DNC, and the Clinton campaign, we have the collusion-deluded, impeachment-obsessed hacks in the mainstream media. What is most telling in McCabe’s friendly 60 Minutes interview is the gross media malpractice that continues to plague us, especially with everything Trump.

As Jussie Smollet, Jim Carrey, Kathy Griffin, Ashley Judd, Amy Schumer, Madonna, Eminem, Meryl Streep, Robert de Niro, Jimmy Kimmel, Nathan Phillips, Facebook fools, Twitter trolls, and the like daily demonstrate: gross media malpractice in the name of destroying President Trump goes far beyond the left-wing news media.

Not content with making millions by merely entertaining us, and deluded by the notion that their fame has made their political opinions important, hate-filled—and hate-hoaxing—entertainers have used their celebrity to regularly attack the President and his supporters. Because of their fame, these hate merchants gain the attention of like-minded people and organizations who have control of television cameras, websites, and newspapers.

The Smollet hoax and the Covington Catholic defamation well demonstrate that these hate merchants will take nearly any opportunity—no matter how flimsy the accusations—to impugn President Trump. Thus, instead of focusing on the real unparalleled story here, the hate is further amplified, and the efforts to overthrow the results of the 2016 presidential election continue. Yet President Trump remains, and support seems steadfast. In other words, thus far, the coup has failed. Victor Davis Hanson is right, “Shame on all these failed conspirators and their abettors, and may these immoral people finally earn a long deserved legal [political] and moral reckoning.”

The Safest Bet: Assume the Left is Lying

When Rolling Stone horrifically flubbed their infamous campus rape “exposé”—to the point that they were sued into requiring new ownership—it was noted that no one should have been surprised that a publication that has spent decades glorifying the hedonistic, misogynistic culture of sex, drugs, and rock-and-roll would botch a story revealing the so-called “rape culture” that supposedly existed on college campuses across the U.S.

Likewise, no right-minded person should be surprised that those devoted to a liberal worldview, where the absurd notion of “your truth” is the prevailing moral position, are so often wrong and/or deceptive. In spite of what you may have recently heard, living life according to “your truth,” in addition to often causing one to be “factually wrong,” also typically results in all sorts of immorality.

The evidence is all around us, every day. Speaking of being wrong every day—factually and morally—Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is the “gift” that keeps on giving. It’s quite an accomplishment to set oneself apart in such a way in the modern Democrat Party—the political arm of the American left. Nevertheless, in only a few days as an actual Congresswoman and only a few months in the national spotlight, Ocasio-Cortez has become a most “distinguished” deceiver.

Even Piers Morgan—no friend of the truth—recently took her to task for her deceit. In a blistering attack in the Daily Mail, Morgan lamented AOC’s (“Annoying Overhyped Charlatan” as Morgan labeled her) “inability to tell the truth.” He went on to note her “lying on the record about unemployment numbers, ICE bed quotas, America’s upper-middle class not existing, Medicare costs, and Affordable Care Act payment systems.”

Morgan rightly concluded, “So when she bangs on self-righteously about the importance of facts, it’s worth noting that barely anything that comes out of her mouth seems to actually be factual.” Of course, AOC is far from alone. The modern Democrat Party is littered with lies and liars. This is what results when your party’s political agenda is premised upon multiple falsehoods. The perverse political platform of the modern Democrat Party is a myriad of lies.

For example, there is nothing in the sexual realm with which today’s left can be trusted. They can’t be trusted on life, they can’t be trusted on marriage, they can’t be trusted on sexual behavior, they can’t be trusted on sexual assault, and they can’t even be trusted on who is a male and who is a female. Time and again today’s leftists have demonstrated themselves to be tools of the enemy of all mankind when it comes to sex.

Thus, whenever a leftist politician, pundit, celebrity, CEO, or citizen starts pontificating about matters concerning “four (or more) bare legs in a bed,”—often demonstrating a stunning ignorance of the anatomy between said legs—you know almost certainly he or she is lying. Of course, it’s not as simple as licentious leftists preaching a hedonistic lifestyle and seeking willing converts. Because they have made a god of government, the modern left is all too willing to use the power of government to give their wickedness the force of law. If deception is necessary to accomplish such, so be it. After all, what’s a lie to those willing to kill the most innocent and helpless among us and willing to legally redefine the oldest institution in the history of humanity?

Because the left has made a god of government, anyone in government who stands in opposition becomes a target. The higher in government the opposition, the bigger the target. The bigger the target, the more desperate the left becomes, thus the more frequent and egregious the lies. President Trump and Justice Brett Kavanaugh provide the ugliest lessons here.

The most recent Buzzfeed fiasco is just the latest example of a left-wing media so desperate to get rid of President Trump that there’s almost no “unverified” tale they won’t publish. This is especially the case when it comes to the ever-elusive proof of Trump-Russia election collusion. This political unicorn has led the left into dozens of significant falsehoods, which has led to thousands of fake media reports.

As is the case with abortion and marriage, the left’s lies on Russia and collusion are not mere chatter. The left isn’t content merely to smother the airwaves and the internet with “Trump stole the election!” People are getting indicted, and more often than not, they are “indictments in search of a crime.” As Alan Dershowitz noted after the recent arrest of Roger Stone:

I’ve read the indictment. It’s a typical Mueller indictment. Very, very heavy on stories, stories involving collusion and WikiLeaks but the indictment itself all relates to obstruction of justice, tampering of witnesses. In other words, crimes that occurred as a result of the investigation. 

This is typical of Mueller. He has found almost no crimes that occurred before he was appointed special counsel. He was appointed special counsel to uncover crimes that had already occurred. He has virtually failed in that respect in every regard.

Almost all of his crimes that’s he’s indicted people for are crimes that resulted from his investigation. False statements, tampering with witnesses, obstruction of justice. I went through today the list of all the people who have been indicted by Mueller and it was very hard to find any American who had been charged with any crime that occurred before Mueller was appointed special counsel. 

So what happened here is these are crimes generated by the investigation. It doesn’t make them any less criminal, but it really means that there's been a failure to uncover the basic crimes for which he was appointed. Namely, before he was appointed, was there illegal collusion, illegal conspiracy with Russia? We don’t find that.

The slandering of Brett Kavanaugh during his hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee is one of the lowest political moments in the history of the U.S., and the highest levels of the Democrat Party were complicit. More than one person lied in the evil efforts by liberals to keep Brett Kavanaugh off of the U.S. Supreme Court. As elected democrats pursued their witch-hunt against Kavanaugh, their stooges in the left-wing media were very eager to aid and abet.

Time and again it was obvious the case against Kavanaugh was built upon a mountain of lies, yet the left persisted. From Rhode Island to California, the left’s wicked lies about the “Devil’s Triangle” and “gang rape” spread like wildfire. Because they viewed him as a threat in their unconstitutional efforts to legislate from the bench, Kavanaugh was forced to defend himself against multiple uncorroborated accusations, many of which were proven to be false.

Given that the left will boo God, thunderously applaud the legalization of infanticide; given their belief in “white skin privilege” and animus for anything Trump, no one should be surprised that like-minded leftists would viciously attack Catholic pro-life high school students. The only “crime” committed by the Covington Catholic high school boys is that they are Christian, white, pro-lifers who wear MAGA hats. Yet, even after the original narrative of the Covington students was proven false, many on the left continued to harass the high school students with lies.

A parent of one of the Covington Catholic high school boys who called into Rush Limbaugh’s show is right:

You know, the only thing I can think of, Rush, when you say, “How do people think like this?” and whatever, is I have a strong belief — and this is one of the reasons I love Covington Catholic, the high school. Those who do not have faith lose their ability to reason.

Just prior to His execution, when He stood before Pilot, Jesus declared, “Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.” Sounding like someone who’s lost his ability to reason, Pilot retorted “What is truth?” Soon after, Pilot had Jesus brutally flogged and crucified. The modern left long ago decided Jesus was no source of truth and thus remains blind to the truth. Always remember this when you weigh their words.
