On President’s Condemning Racial Violence, Some Perspective

On the protest in Charlottesville this past weekend, Pajama Media’s Roger Simon, a self-described “Jewish fella,” put it well:
[T]he types who surfaced in Charlottesville on Saturday are certainly human beings of the most repellent and disgusting sort, murderous too—pretty much violent, evil sociopaths. I wouldn’t mind if they were all rounded up, put in a space ship, and sent on a one-way trip to Alpha Centauri.
Offering some “perspective,” Mr. Simon continues,
[F]or the sake of argument, let's say there are as many as 100,000 white supremacists in America today. (This is undoubtedly a vast exaggeration, but let's use it, as I said, for the sake of argument.)
Meanwhile, since the 1920s, our population has more than tripled to some 325 million. Using the figure of 100,000 white supremacists (not many of whom made it to Charlottesville fortunately), this puts the percentage of white supremacists in the U.S. at a puny 0.03%. Terrible people, yes, but no epidemic by any stretch of the imagination…
More to the point, are there more of these white supremacists than members of the equally violent and disgusting Antifa movement? Again statistics are hard to come by. (Both sides like to wear masks.) But I tend to doubt it. If anything, Antifa has been far more active, until Saturday.
Obviously, none of this is to exonerate in the slightest the human excrement that descended on Charlottesville. It's just to put them in perspective.
On President Trump’s condemnation of the violence in Charlottesville, Thomas Lifson at American Thinker offers some more perspective:
[The] critics [of President Trump’s condemnation] were going to slam the president no matter what he said or did…
I am sorry, but maintaining that a president of the United States must shape his actions according to what the media and his critics (but I repeat myself) might say is an abject surrender. This is the standard operating procedure of Republicans pre-Trump, and it has brought us to our current mess…
I hope and expect the president will have more to say, and while condemning Nazis, remain even-handed. I condemn everyone that seeks to oppress others on the basis of race, no matter which race is being demonized.
I, too, hope that President Trump has more to say on this matter, but then again, U.S. Presidents have often disappointed when it comes to matters involving the hate-filled violence and rhetoric of a small number of their supporters. Take the last President, for example. Whether Ferguson, Missouri (more than once), Baltimore, St. Paul, Baton Rouge, Dallas, Oakland, and so on, time and again, President Obama refused to condemn the violent racists of Black Lives Matter (BLM). On the contrary, Obama and the Democrat Party regularly encouraged the perverse cause of BLM and gave them political cover.

In spite of their regular use of violence, destruction, and racist rhetoric, in August of 2015, the Democratic National Committee passed a resolution “affirming” BLM. In July of 2016, at the funeral of five Dallas police officers murdered by a BLM-inspired racist, President Obama continued to defend the BLM movement. After the Dallas shootings, law enforcement leaders accused President Obama of helping to encourage a “war on cops.” Politico reported,
I think [the Obama administration] continued appeasements at the federal level with the Department of Justice, their appeasement of violent criminals, their refusal to condemn movements like Black Lives Matter, actively calling for the death of police officers, that type of thing, all the while blaming police for the problems in this country has led directly to the climate that has made Dallas possible,” William Johnson, the executive director of the National Association of Police Organizations, said in an interview with Fox on Friday morning.
Additionally, BLM has long made it clear what they were all about. As Katie Pavlich noted in 2015,
It's time to expose the Black Lives Matter [BLM] movement for what it is: a racist, violent hate group that promotes the execution of police officers. The evidence is in their rhetoric and written on their shirts.
Miss Pavlich goes on to chronicle how BLM has elevated individuals like Assata Shakur, “otherwise known as Joanne Chesimard, who shot and killed a New Jersey State Trooper back in 1973.” Last year National Review’s David French highlighted a “sickening” essay by BLM that expressed support and admiration for—in addition to Fidel Castro—Michael Finney, Ralph Goodwin, Charles Hill, and Huey Newton. All were cop killers.

French rightly asks, “How many despots and murderers must Black Lives Matter praise before it’s consigned to the fringe of American life? How many riots and murders must it incite — often through lies and hoaxes?” Not yet enough, it seems.

In spite of all of this, a single incident by White Nationalists in Virginia—with not a hint of support from President Trump or his administration—and all of a sudden the Charlottesville racists are Trump’s “people.” Of course, eager to paint anyone on the right as a racist, describing the Virginia fools as “Trump’s people” has been a regular refrain from pundits on the left. In spite of all of the evidence linking Obama, the democrats, and BLM, as far as I can recall, the liberal mainstream media never sought to label black racists as “Obama’s people.”

Of course, this should surprise no one, and I expect the double-standard in this matter (and many others) to continue. Instead of proving Trump a racist, more than anything else, the events in Charlottesville reveal again reveal the depths of corruption of the left-wing media.

Black Lives in the Womb Matter

As a teacher and a staunch observer of the political scene, one recent event particularly caught my attention. Educators at several schools in the Seattle Public School district held "Black Lives Matter at School" rallies. According to the Seattle Times,
About 2,000 Seattle educators wore Black Lives Matter shirts at their schools Wednesday to call for racial equity in education.
Schools across the district held “Black Lives Matter at School” rallies before classes began for the day. Students, parents and teachers also wore stickers and buttons emblazoned with the “Black Lives Matter” slogan.
The purpose of the day was to affirm that “black lives matter in the public schools,” according to organizers, who are members of Social Equality Educators, a group of educators within the Seattle teachers union.
This caused me to ponder, if such an event were organized at my school, how would I participate? Given that without a doubt, the most dangerous place on earth for a black American is in its mother's womb,

my attire would look something like this:

Given even the slightest notion of some institutionalized injustice perpetuated against what is all too often a foolish criminal thug, the ignorant fools who perpetuate the lies of Black Lives Matter are quick to cry "racism," but are seemingly blind to the greatest holocaust in the history of humanity.

The worldwide abortion machine is responsible for more human deaths than any other single event, institution, or army since the Great Flood. With Planned Parenthood leading the way, abortion is the leading cause of death among black Americans. Additionally, as Dr. Alveda King--MLK's niece--put it, "Every aborted baby is like a slave in the womb of his or her mother. The mother decides his or her fate." With nearly 18 million black babies killed by abortion since 1973 (the infamous Roe v. Wade decision), the number of black slaves in the womb far surpasses the number of American slaves in the 18th and 19th centuries.

In spite of this, Black Lives Matter (BLM) officially formed an unholy alliance with the abortion industry. This is unsurprising given that BLM is led by those corrupted by liberalism. Of course, BLM is far from the only group that (supposedly) advocates for black Americans outside of the womb but ignores the most helpless and innocent black Americans.

In late 2014, the NAACP tweeted out a list of 76 "unarmed" black people killed by the police from 1999 to 2014. That amounts to about five deaths per year. Many on the list--such as Michael Brown--were guilty of crimes that led to their tragic encounter with police. Every year, over 360,000 unarmed black lives are killed in the womb by abortionists. The NAACP--what some now refer to as the "National Association for the Abortion of Colored People"--along with many other so-called "civil rights" organizations, has long advocated for the "right" to kill children in the womb.

Of course, these organizations are now little more than political arms of the Democrat Party. Modern democrats have never been more hostile to the most helpless and innocent Americans. Having abandoned the deceptive "safe, legal, and rare" argument in favor of abortion, democrats now want abortion legal at any moment during pregnancy, and free .(i.e., taxpayer funded)

At the final presidential debate, when asked by moderator Chris Wallace "how far the right to abortion goes," Hillary responded that late term, and the now illegal (and never necessary) partial-birth abortion, should be legal under any circumstances. In other words, Hillary is in favor of the gruesome practice of ripping fully developed second and third trimester babies to shreds. (See video here. Warning: it's well done but still traumatic.) What's more, she wants taxpayers to fund these heinous acts.

I've said this many times before, but it bears repeating: It is the height of hypocrisy for any politician to claim to stand up for the least of us, all the while ignoring the most innocent and helpless among us.

We Have a “War on Cops” because of the War on the Family

Just so we’re clear, here’s the left’s narrative on the police in America: There’s widespread and institutionalized racism inside America’s law enforcement agencies, and black Americans are especially targeted. This racism has led to the deaths of a disproportionate number of innocent black Americans. In order to stop this heinous activity, we need more gun control legislation, more wealth redistribution, more job and education programs, and thus Americans need to elect more Democrats.

Heather MacDonald (more than once), Larry Elder (more than once), and a host of others have provided mountains of evidence that prove beyond any reasonable doubt that there is no widespread special targeting of blacks by U.S. law enforcement. In addition to the crime statistics, consider: Of the 50 largest cities in the U.S., 30 percent have a black police chief. Of the 50 largest sheriff’s departments in the U.S., 12 percent were led by black Americans. (Remember, blacks are about 13 percent of the U.S. population, and sheriffs are usually elected.)

Barack Obama, the U.S. President and Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. military—the largest, most powerful military in the world—is a black man. The U.S. Attorney General—the chief law enforcement officer and chief lawyer of the U.S. government—Loretta Lynch, is a black woman. The previous U.S. Attorney General, Eric Holder, is a black man. No doubt there are racists within U.S. law enforcement—as there are in almost any agency, institution, or organization in America—however there is no way a nation achieves the racial diversity detailed above if widespread, institutionalized racism exists.

In spite of this information, whenever the national conversation turns to confrontations between white cops and black suspects, the narrative at the beginning of this piece—the narrative of Black Lives Matter—dominates the mainstream media. Remember, the Black Lives Matter movement gained national attention because of a lie. Black Lives Matter was founded after the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the killing of Trayvon Martin. However, the movement became known nationally after the death of Michael Brown at the hands of police officer Darren Wilson in Ferguson, Missouri.

After Brown’s death, the supposed gesture and words of surrender by Brown—“Hand’s Up, Don’t Shoot!”—became a frequent rallying cry for those protesting Brown’s death. However, after a U.S. Department of Justice investigation, it was concluded that Brown didn’t have his hands up and didn’t cry “Don’t shoot” when Officer Wilson shot him. Even liberal apologist Jonathan Capehart had to admit that, “‘Hands up, don’t shoot’ was built on a lie.” Nevertheless, as we see today (scroll about one-third the way down), the narrative continues.

One of the reasons the deceptive liberal narrative about black lives is so doggedly defended and regularly repeated is that the truth about the very real suffering in the American black community runs counter to modern liberal dogma. The biggest reason for the rampant lawlessness and poverty that is so prevalent in the black community is the breakdown of the family.

It has been widely reported for years now that the out-of-wedlock birth rate among American blacks is over 70 percent. Almost always, mothers are left to raise their children alone. In U.S. cities, where the violence and poverty among U.S. blacks is most pronounced, the out-of-wedlock birth rate is even worse. For example, in Chicago about 80 percent of black children are born to single mothers. Today, only 17 percent of American black teenagers reach age 17 in a family with their biological parents married to each other. In no state in the U.S does black family intactness exceed 30 percent.

Social science is finally revealing what sound morality and good common sense always told us: Children of single mothers do worse in almost every metric measured: school achievement, poverty, crime, emotional well-being, drug use, delinquency, violent behavior, and so on. These negative outcomes are even worse for black children born to single mothers. Millions of black youths—because of the frequent absence of fathers, especially black males—are growing up poorly disciplined, poorly educated, and poorly churched.

Thus, gangs and crime have become far too common in the black communities of America. Sadly, these broken and vulnerable black families typically live in the most dangerous parts of our nation. From the beginning of the Iraq war in 2003, until the U.S. troop withdrawal in 2011, there were 4,485 U.S. casualties. The city of Chicago alone had 4,265 murders during the same time period. Perhaps the most shocking statistic of all when it comes to black Americans and violence is that black men in the U.S. are half as likely to die if they are in prison than if they are not.

However, easily the most dangerous place for a black child in America is the womb. This is horrifically sad when one considers that a mother’s womb should be one of the safest places in the universe. Since the Roe vs. Wade ruling in 1973, abortion has killed more black Americans than crime, accidents, cancer, heart disease, or AIDS. Since 1973, abortion has taken the life of more black Americans than any other single cause of death. Again, in U.S. cities, these numbers are even more staggering. In New York City, in 2012, more black children were aborted than were born.

As Mother Teresa warned us, “the greatest destroyer of peace today is abortion, because it is a war against the child, a direct killing of the innocent child, murder by the mother herself. And if we accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another?” Thus, we should not be surprised that, where there is rampant abortion, there is also rampant violence. In spite of all of this, Black Lives Matter and their liberal apologists refuse to stand up for black children in the womb.

As I have often said, after our relationship with our Creator, the most important relationship in the universe is the relationship between a husband and his wife. Any other type of union is a perversion of one of the oldest truths in the history of humanity. Such a conclusion is in direct opposition to the pro-homosexual, pro-abortion, pro-big-government—which could all be summed up as the anti-family—agenda of today’s American left. For decades now, modern American liberals have waged war on the family. They have lied about sex and sexuality, about the importance of mothers and fathers, about marriage, and about life in the womb. The rotten fruit of these lies is widespread death and destruction. It is the politics, policies, and practices of liberalism that have robbed America’s black communities of peace and prosperity and turned our police officers into targets.

Liberals Fiddle While Black Communities Burn (UPDATED)

I don't yet know the complete story of the MN or LA shootings where black men were killed by police in what some are calling suspicious circumstances. Few do know the complete story. If the police acted criminally, let justice be done. However, we do know that institutionalized police violence is FAR from the biggest problem the black community in America faces. As many U.S. cities have suffered from the "Ferguson effect," the real problems in the black community become more clear. As Heather MacDonald reveals:
Violence in Chicago is reaching epidemic proportions. In the first five months of 2016, someone was shot every two and a half hours and someone murdered every 14 hours, for a total of nearly 1,400 nonfatal shooting victims and 240 fatalities. Over Memorial Day weekend, 69 people were shot, nearly one per hour, dwarfing the previous year’s tally of 53 shootings over the same period. The violence is spilling over from the city’s gang-infested South and West Sides into the downtown business district; Lake Shore Drive has seen drive-by shootings and robberies.
The growing mayhem is the result of Chicago police officers’ withdrawal from proactive enforcement, making the city a dramatic example of what I have called the “Ferguson effect.” Since the shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, in August 2014, the conceit that American policing is lethally racist has dominated the national airwaves and political discourse, from the White House on down. In response, cops in minority neighborhoods in Chicago and other cities around the country are backing off pedestrian stops and public-order policing; criminals are flourishing in the resulting vacuum. (An early and influential Ferguson-effect denier has now changed his mind: in a June 2016 study for the National Institute of Justice, Richard Rosenfeld of the University of Missouri–St. Louis concedes that the 2015 homicide increase in the nation’s large cities was “real and nearly unprecedented.” “The only explanation that gets the timing right is a version of the Ferguson effect,” he told the Guardian.)
Like across the rest of the U.S., the vast majority of the victims in the Chicago violence are black Americans. The vast majority of the perpetrators are young black males from broken (read: "fatherless") homes. For decades now numerous liberal policies have undermined the family in America--especially the black family--and just as is the case with terrorism and Islam, liberals across the U.S. ignore the real causes of the evil that plagues us and continue to play their foolish political games.

Maybe liberals will tell us that we need more abortions of black children. After all, Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger's vision has only been partially realized: Only about half of the black population in the U.S. has been wiped out by abortion.

And now it seems, those political games have again turned deadly. Late Thursday evening, at a Black Lives Matter Next Generation Action Network protest in Dallas, TX, four five police officers were killed and 11 7 more injured. Again, few details are in. Stay tuned.

UPDATE: A self-described "black power group," has claimed responsibility for the Dallas cop murders. "Black Power Political Organization" wrote on its Facebook account that it was behind the attack and that "more assassinations are coming".

We are NEVER going to solve the problem of violence in the black community, we are NEVER going to solve the problem of the "War on Cops" until we stop waging war on the family.

Hillary Clinton and "Black Lives Matter" Deserve One Another

For most Georgians today, the Hillary Clinton speech in Atlanta was much like a Tennessee-Florida football game. It was hard to know who to most root against. The next liberal to be indicted--I mean the Democrat front-runner--was in Atlanta, speaking to what she thought was a friendly crowd. Clinton was there in order to tout her latest get out the vote operation--I mean criminal justice reform plan.

Instead of having to endure the normal liberal drivel spilled by Clinton, Georgians were exposed to a double-dose of progressive propaganda. Clinton's speech was interrupted multiple times, and at significant length, by a rather large gaggle of thug apologists--I mean "Black Lives Matter" protesters.

It is rather satisfying to witness one of the political monsters created by liberals prey upon its own. How ironic is it that two campaigns predicated upon a mountain of lies found themselves at odds with one-another? The "Black Lives Matters" (BLM) fools are putting the lives of police officers in even greater danger, and their actions have led to an increase in crime in cities across America. Obama's own FBI chief has recently complained of the "Ferguson effect" that has spread to many U.S. cities.

On top of the violence and ignorance promoted by the BLM movement, and on top of the many who already are so prominent in her life, her campaign, and her party, Hillary wants us to put more even more criminals to work. In her speech today she vowed to sign an executive order that would ban federal employers from asking job-seekers about their prior criminal convictions. Perhaps she's thinking this will make it easier for Bill to get a job in her administration?

I fully expect these two campaigns to make up. Does anyone really believe that the BLM fools and whomever is the Democrat nominee won't eventually end up on the same page when it comes to election time? I would expect nothing less from the liberal faithful.
