The state of North
Carolina votes tomorrow on whether to amend its
constitution to define marriage as a union of one man and one woman. North Carolina would be the 30th U.S. state to
so amend its constitution. The most recent
poll shows support for the amendment with a 16 point lead (55% to 39%). I’m
hoping for at least a 60-40 victory. As it is looking more and more likely that
an amendment to the U.S. Constitution is going to be necessary to protect the
definition of marriage, this would be another encouraging turn of events.

The ultimate question for us all: What shall I do with Jesus? (Matt. 27:22) And recall, we are slaves to the one we obey (Rom. 6:16). Thus, the question is, WHOSE SLAVE ARE YOU?

How does this protect marriage? If we want to protect marriage we need to make divorce more difficult to obtain. Liberals have changed the divorce laws so dramatically that in most states it can be obtained for no reason at all. This goes directly against Christ's teachings.
