What's really sad is to see how deception on marriage has invaded even the evangelical church. See my link to "An Evangelical Defense of Marriage." Yes, life is certainly not always about being "happy" and "that's okay." :)Trevor Thomashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03327878635060229932noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4682405763952879345.post-40923563741899528922014-09-08T09:34:47.319-04:002014-09-08T09:34:47.319-04:00Another great one, Trevor. In my opinion, that's what causes many divorces......people just aren't "happy" anymore, so they split, throwing vows and covenants to the wind. We need to suck it up, be grown ups, and realize that not everything makes us happy. And that's okay.DWW1990https://www.blogger.com/profile/12126817351732627552noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4682405763952879345.post-25883944641626668452014-09-07T19:56:35.853-04:002014-09-07T19:56:35.853-04:00In Lewis's "Right to Happiness," he ...In Lewis's "Right to Happiness," he makes the easily proven assertion that "Every unkindness and breach of faith seems to be condoned provided that the object aimed at is four legs in a bed." Lewis wrote this in the early 1960's, but it is never more true than it is today. So many Americans are deceived that such behavior is a path to "happiness." Very sad.--Herman2008Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
